Les chambres sont très belles et la salle de bain en plein air magnifique. Les repas sont servis sur la terrasse de la chambre pour apprécier les saveurs balinaises en admirant une vue plongeante sur la jungle. Personnel très serviable et prix très doux. Possibilité de massage en chambre et jolie petite piscine. Une très belle adresse. Attention en revanche à être véhiculé, car mis à part la mise à disposition 2 fois par jour d’une navetre pour Ubud, la position au calme de l’hôtel ne permet pas de sortir et de trouver facilement de quoi manger à l’extérieur. La piscine mériterait également d’être un peu chauffée. Mais le cachet de l’hôtel et le calme compensent très largement. The room we stayed in was tiny, the breakfast was extremely limited and the ‘resturant’ advertised was a woman cooking out of the same place that the clothes are washed. The pool was tiny compared to the photos that were shown. Although it’s in a very tranquil and beautiful spot, if you are not comfortable renting your own spot you are essentially trapped there with only 1 free drop off and pick up into Ubud each day. Although I was very comfy at night, my partner got very little sleep because of the very hard beds. Staff was so so lovely and helpful, they really make an effort. Hotel is very peaceful and only noices are coming from the jungle what was really exotic for us. It is easy to get to Ubud because hotel arrange free drop-off service for that. The view is stunning and we really enjoyed our stay at DD Ubud Villa. Only thing we didn't like so much was the humidity, it was hard to get clothes dry. They had given us the wrong room at check in, but were quick to solve the problem. The outdoor bathroom wasn't as nice as I had hoped, but made for a unique experience. The jungle was beautiful. We had a wonderful view. We had been hiking the entire day before check in and found all of the stairs to be unpleasant, especially since our room was located at the very bottom. The free breakfast started at 9 am, which was the same time that the free shuttle left, so we never had our included free breakfast. It was very close to Ubud shopping center with a free shuttle to and from the hotel which was very helpful. They also had personal drivers that were on call in case you wanted to venture out and do other things as well. The experience of an outdoor bathroom and shower was surprisingly pleasant as well. Beautiful area in the peace of the jungle. Villa was not quite what we expected. Smaller than we thought. Bathroom large but constantly checking toilet for ants and bugs before using. LOTS of ants (black and red ones) in and around our villa. Room had a mosquito net above bed which was defiantly beneficial. Just felt we had to keep our suitcases and bags zipped up the whole time to prevent ants and bugs getting into our stuff. We did call room service for supper. Food good and reasonable amount of time in it getting to our room. Breakfast okay too. Eating on the balcony of villa is a nice view; but once again constantly trying to keep bugs away.
