"Great property, huge rooms with a separate sitting area. Balcony with great valley views. Food and beverage service is dirty and unhygienic. Sugar is dirty, lying open under the service desk at the canteen. No glass ware in the rooms for water etc. were provided paper cups, how un-ecofriendly. Even if you want to have any drink it’s the paper cups. They are going through 100’s of paper cups each day/ how easy to provide glassware in rooms. The room had dust and cobwebs. "The rooms on floors below lobby level are pathetic. The walls had fungus and were moist - water was seeping on all walls. After long debate, they gave us our booked room types on 7th and 8th floor (above lobby level). "

"The rooms are good and large and with a small balcony. There is no chairs in the balcony. The breakfast spread is good but not exceptional. They need to include more healthy options like boiled veg etc."

"Staff were friendly, the WiFi was good, the power shower was nice (when there was hot water) and, best of all, the only bar in town is just across the street. But the room needed a good clean, there was no bottled water or toilet paper and Silent Valley is far from silent. Bring earplugs."
