"Stayed at this hotel on Temple Road, McLeod Ganj in January end 2026 and honestly had a very nice experience. Food was really good. The balcony view was amazing — you can see Dharamshala and snow-covered mountains, which felt super peaceful. The place is calm and quiet but still very close to the main square and Dalai Lama Temple, so location is perfect. Only issue really is that location is not where indicated on Hotels.com. It’s not in Dharamshala and certainly not next to the McLeod Ganj ropeway as the address implies. It’s a few miles down the road in Sudhed, which is a fair bit less convenient."
