Throughout winter, Southland Sounds offers comfortable furnishings to get snuggled up on. Turn the fireplace on or set the ideal temperature with the heat pump. After a day of exploring, this is the perfect spot to relax.  
  
Te Anau is known as being the 'Gateway to Fiordland', home to Mitre Peak, and the stunning Milford and Doubtful Sounds. The beautiful lakeside town of Manapouri is an 18-minute drive away, and with the Kepler, Milford and Routeburn Tracks nearby it's easy to see why Fiordland is known as the sightseeing and walking capital of the world.
