The house is welcoming, the decor is peaceful and set up in a way that encourages relaxation as well as communication. At the end of the day, my friend and I enjoyed having our own space for privacy at night. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and check-in was very easy. We had a wonderful stay at the Scandinavian Retreat over Thanksgiving weekend. It was the perfect start to the holiday season, made even more special by the village parade that began right in front of the house! We enjoyed walking just a few blocks to the festivities, where we admired the beautiful lights, bonfires, and historic homes illuminated for the occasion. The house itself was cozy and welcoming, equipped with everything we needed and many thoughtful extras. There were plenty of dishes and cooking supplies, along with additions like avocado and coconut oils, seasonings, condiments, and handy supplies such as baggies and foil. The soaps, lotions, and extra toiletries were a lovely touch as well. Our son especially loved having his own space up the spiral staircase. We would absolutely book this lovely home again.
