Easy base to walk around town and access restaurants. Didn't hear a peep from outside or any other guests. Reception staff were super helpful in organising an early morning ride to Tawau and got us a great price. Only negative would be that i found the bed way too hard... felt like 10cm of padding on top of a slab of wood. Don't know that i could have handled more than 2 nights purely from the mattress perspective. They smelled like they didn't put detergent in the laundry and it smelled really horrible. Even when I was sleeping face up, I could still smell it. Not a pleasant experience. I was quite sick when I arrived. The desk told me where to find a health clinic and it was a positive experience. Also found me a breakfast place near the hotel. The local breakfast was not the best. The air conditioner was too floral for me and I mentioned it to the desk and they immediately changed the air filters. Good area for shopping for essentials.
