The Space: This light, bright, and nautical condo is ideal for guests seeking a peaceful weekend in the Florida Keys, while still being conveniently located between Key Largo and Islamorada—perfect for sport fishing enthusiasts, divers, and snorkelers. The condo has been immaculately renovated and features all-new kitchen and bathrooms, modern coastal furnishings, updated lighting, and fresh bedding throughout. The fully equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and a washer/dryer, making longer stays effortless. Relax together in the spacious living room with a large flat-screen TV and a selection of board games—perfect for cozy nights in after a day on the water. The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed, premium linens, a flat-screen TV, and ocean views right from the bed. Guest Access: Enjoy all the resort amenities from sun up to sun down including: \- 24/7 Front Gate Security \- Beach access from the property (beach chairs are provided) \- Junior-Olympic-size outdoor pool and a 14-person Jacuzzi hot tub. \- Loungers, umbrellas by the pool; towels in the condo \- Two private Tennis courts \- Several charcoal BBQ stations throughout the property; \- 2 Parking spots per reservation \-On-Site Bar and Grill, \-Poolside Bar \- On-site MARINA (up to 28ft boats). Slip rental is available for $4/ft/day and boat trailer parking is $40/day (free with slip rental). The Marina reservations need separate arrangements and ARE NOT guaranteed with accommodations reservations; depending on availability. Any Boat Slip/Marina reservations must be arranged separately with the dock master. The Neighborhood: The Florida Keys is home to some of the best fishing, snorkeling and diving in the world. Key Largo's proximity to the Everglades also makes it a premier destination for kayakers and ecotourists. The drive to Key West is approximately 2 hours south and is remarkable! The Florida Keys offer a fantastic variety of restaurants, but with the bounty of fresh seafood available it's not surprising that the cuisine of the Keys is largely built around the catch of the day. Getting Around: A car is needed in the Florida Keys. Ocean Pointe is roughly 70 miles south of Miami International Airport and approximately a 2 hour drive to the Southern Most Point in Key West. Other Things to Note: Please treat me home as if it was your own. PETS AND SMOKING ARE PROHIBITED Please respect our neighbors. Guest are asked to refrain from loud parties, no destructive behavior or drugs!!! If police are called to condo during your stay, you will be ask to leave and forfeit remaining rent. Renters are responsible for cleanliness of condo during your rental stay. MARINA INFORMATION: Advance reservations are required for all marina and trailer reservations. All marina and trailer reservations are handled by a separate entity, First Service Residential. You must contact First Service Residential to reserve. Reservations cannot be made upon arrival – all reservations must be made in advance. The marina will accept boats up to 28 feet. Ocean Pointe Suites Marina slip rentals are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. All boats are required to carry insurance ($300,000.00 Liability and $100,000.00 property damage) as mandated by Ocean Pointe at Key Largo Condominium Association. Proof of insurance is required upon making reservations. Boats not carrying the minimum required coverage will not be allowed onto property. We had everything we needed and the kitchen was well stocked. Our host was very attentive and friendly to work with. The pool within the complex was amazing. It was only a short walk from the unit to the pool and to the beach area. Location within the Keys was perfect for all of our outings.I would say the only down point is that the complex did not have a bar/restaurant area or snack bar as shown in the pictures.Thank you! ##### Carol M. This was a great place to stay in Tavernier! The condo is beautifully decorated, clean and has comfortable furniture. Everything we needed was provided - well stocked kitchen, toiletries, beach towels. The complex has a nice pool and small beach with a pier. The condo was clean and the beach decorations definitely matched the Keys vibe. The condo itself matched the pictures exactly. The condo is close to a beach area and pool (the beach and pool are on the grounds of the property) and other attractions like snorkeling and sandbar tours. Communication with the property owner was quick and informative. We had a great time and will definitely stay at this property again when we visit the Keys. ##### Michelle W. Our property was even better than the pictures described- a couple of things didn’t go according to plan- the cafe was closed on the weekend- so no snack / the seaweed on the beach and the pool was closed one day for maintenance- but nothing that our property owner could predict ! Our rental was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed to make our vacation relaxing. The space we rented had a nature view in the back with a sliver of an ocean view. This lead to quiet nights and restful sleeping. The pool was perfect. It is a good size and there are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas for everyone. The rental had plenty of cooking utensils to meet our needs and nothing in the unit was in disrepair. The “beach” is small, but there is a nice pier to sit out if you want. The complex was beautiful and presented like a nice resort. The pool was sparkling and we were able to enjoy basking in the sun or a sunset sitting on the pier. The condo was beautifully decorated and furnished to fit our needs. We were two couples, and the private baths, table for four to eat and play games, and the couches were perfect for us. This condo was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. We also appreciated how quiet it was. Communication with our host was spot on. We will definitely consider a return trip! ##### Linda M.
