Situated in Tavernier, the property is centrally located between Key Largo and Islamorada, with restaurants, shops, attractions, charter & dive boats and more nearby. SEAS THE DAY - OR JUST RELAX - YOU'RE ON ISLAND TIME The Space: Enjoy sunrise and endless ocean views from the balcony of our top floor suite located in the 3rd building at Ocean Pointe Suites. Upon entering the home you’ll be greeted by simplistic design and the blue-green colors of the Atlantic. The open concept LIVING SPACE has a queen sleeper sofa, flat screen TV and high top table for 4\. The KITCHEN is fully equipped with all dishes, glass and cookware. The breakfast bar provides additional seating for 2\. The MASTER bedroom has a king bed with a flatscreen TV and an ensuite bath with a step-in shower. The GUEST bedroom has two twin beds and the guest bath is easily accessible from the hall. For your convenience, an in-suite LAUNDRY center so no laundromats for this vacation! Guest Access: Entire space plus building amenities are included in this rental. Please, make yourself at home. The closest public beach is Anne's Beach, located in south Islamorada. However, we highly recommend getting out on the water to experience the Keys fully. We have world-class boating, diving, snorkeling, and kayaking, making it a perfect getaway destination. Ocean Pointe is close to a wide range of top notch restaurants, shopping plaza, movie theater, charter fishing, glass bottom boats, swim with the Dolphins park and many more fun places to visit. The Neighborhood: The Florida Keys is home to some of the best fishing, snorkeling and diving in the world. Key Largo's proximity to the Everglades also makes it a premier destination for kayakers and ecotourists. The drive to Key West is approximately 2 hours south and is remarkable! The Florida Keys offer a fantastic variety of restaurants, but with the bounty of fresh seafood available it's not surprising that the cuisine of the Keys is largely built around the catch of the day. Getting Around: A car is needed in the Florida Keys. Ocean Pointe is roughly 70 miles south of Miami International Airport and approximately a 2 hour drive to the Southern Most Point in Key West. It was well stocked with basic kitchen items. Beds were comfy, plenty of towels. The owner was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to a minor issue we encountered with the door lock. The property was very convenient for outings for scuba diving or fishing. The pool area is very nice and it was just short walk to the marina/beach area. Aside from being clean and in good condition, all of the little details such as sun umbrellas, sand toys, extra blankets & pillows, more than enough beach and shower towels was all well appreciated. The heated pool and hot tub were also very clean and the water was the perfect temperature. The only downsides were the beach area is not really suitable for swimming as it is very rocky and the café/market was closed during our stay. Condo was very clean, view was great, location right across from pool was convenient (far enough you that the pool doesn’t bother you, but close walk). Communication with owner is some of the best I’ve had, very prompt and thorough. Great location to easily get to restaurants and water activities. Highly recommend getting on a fishing charter and renting your own boat for snorkeling (Enjoyed Molasses Reef far more than Alligator Reef, more to see, better structures, better depth, less people). My family traveled with my 90 + mother and the condo and amenities made her stay so relaxing. Beautiful view from the little balcony, washer/ dryer, pool and private beach! If you didn't want to leave the property you were all set! Located very close to points of interest. Our goal was to have a beautiful landing point while we explored the Keys. Communication was great with Largo, she was very quick to send someone to help us with a minor door lock issue we had one day. The property is great and the beach / pool were very nice places to relax in the sunshine. Condo was nice and clean. You may want to look into new bed in the master bedroom but otherwise things were great. The only negative was that the restaurant at the beach and concession/bar at the pool were both closed. We were really looking forward to that during our stay so not having that was disappointing as it was shown in the pictures of the posting. ##### Amy V.
