Responses to inquiries sounded suspiciously like AI. We were not given check-in details until a couple of hours before arrival, so that, combined with the AI sounding correspondence, we feared that we had been scammed. We were not told how to find the apartment in the building, or what number it was. It required an exasperated call after a long frustrating day of travel to be able to enter our rental.The apartment is adequate, but so cheaply furnished as to provide little in the way of comfort. The bathroom door does not close. The light in the kitchen does not work. The automatic door lock did not function and we spent 4 days unable to securely lock our door whether we were in the apartment or not. No action was taken to address this until the 5th day, and by then we had removed the batteries from the lock so it could be locked with the key.The kitchen light was never repaired.There is no kitchen table for eating meals.The bed is very poor.The bathroom door is a sliding barn-door type and the track is so cheap that it does not close. I repeat, the bathroom door does not close.The apartment is described as "walk the beach". Not true. You can walk to the water at a nearby park, but it is not a beach.A hairdryer was listed as an amenity, so we did not bring one. There was none.
