Wondered what I’d booked when we arrived, pleasantly surprised, lovely and clean everything we needed. Was not overly impressed with payment, I had said I would pay at premises only to find it had already been taken out of my card…..

Seagulls is located on a quiet street, all facilities extremely clean and tidy, large comfortable common area, well equipped common kitchen and a back patio for nice days. The new keyless entry system did not work with my older cellphone but we worked that out. It is a long but doable walk to the beaches, the hot pools and Mt. Manganui Park. We would stay again.

I love how they have the locks you can open with your phone, so I don't have to worry losing or forgetting carrying the keys. Amenities in the room were minimal, and I didn't see anyone working for the place while staying, not even at the reception, but everything was pretty self-explanatory and we had no issues staying.

Wonderful place, big and spacious kitchen, lovely lounge and cosy bedroom. All you need to rest after fun and adventures day. I love the keyless option to enter the building and the room.

I was not very happy ,as we arrived and our room was not serviced? It was dirty ,i wanted to sleep ,long drive from Bay of islands? I asked for reception checkin ,no one was there? Dont offfer if yr not going to be there? The staff did say sorry but didnt offer any compensation? Your paying a reasonable about to stay there. Its a good location but ive never stay in a shared accommodation space so would have been nice to have someone show u around? The door lock up system feels like prison . Nice open spaces ... Nice kitchen. Friendly people staying there as well.

Has a homely feel too it, comfortable bed, ultra clean bedding, large separate lounge with gas fire place, clean large kitchen, free milk coffee tea sugar, fully equiped large kitchen, excellent commiunication with Paul reception. I only stayed one night, would come to stay again, budget friendly.

We stayed for one night in a double bedroom with ensuite. The property was clean with friendly staff but rooms lacked a wardrobe and so no place to hang clothes. The heater was not working properly and the vertical blind was broken. The place has positive reviews from other guests but came short of our expectations.
