The motel was close to the Historic site and a short walking distance from the public bus stop. It was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Location! Location! Location!
Location! Location! Location! While an older motor inn it has been done up. It is one of the few places we have stayed on this trip that serviced our room each day. It is located adjoining the historic site, you dont need to use your car at all. Dont forget to eat dinner in the restaurant as the food their was excellent and well priced and the view over the port arther site outstanding.

It's a basic motel with paper-thin walls but the location, convenience and staff make it a no-brainer. The food in the restaurant was awesome too. The schnitty's are massive and good kids meal options. Nothing was too much trouble for any staff we encountered. Being able to access Port Arthur Historic Site using our room key was so good and convenient, not having to use the car and being able to go in and out, let the kids rest, etc was excellent.

Best accomodation and meal experience!!!
This stay was a highlight of our trip. Very well priced accommodation, clean & comfortable. Staff offered range of dinners options around town, not just their own, but we chose to dine in their restaurant. Staff were the most helpful & attentive we experienced & meals were sensational. Staff were all but running though the restaurant, delivering meals, checking everything was okay & clearing tables. A staff member even offered & drove us down to attend our booked ghost tour! Over & above service. Breakfast staff advised continental breakfast only had limited gluten free options, so we advised would pass. Rather than just saying no worries staff member offered alternative breakfast options in town - again over & above service you don’t see that much these days. Well done to all your staff we were Amazed!!!

Staying on the Port Arthur site was an awesome experience. We sat outside on the balcony and watched the sun go down on the beautiful buildings. The meals were good with ample portions. Overall a great stay.

Like: Staff were extremely friendly, Bed room it self was a good size. It's walkable distance to the Port Arthur historic sites Dislikes: The bathroom was way to small the shower was only half-size (Triangle Shape 🔺️) Quality of the main menu at dinner was hit or miss.

We chose it for the closeness to the Port Arthur site. However we did not get the room requested with the view of the site, we had to wait 15 mins at reception venue finally giving in and going to the pub to get a barmaid to book us in. The pub stinks and is not a good impressionto book in. She then tried to take my credit card details for ??? There is no mini bay or room service so what for…I declined which seemed to tick her off. Room very old, screws hanging out of fixtures, lights cracking when you turn them on, only positive was that linen was clean. On credit had to hang keys in to two staff smoking their heads off out the front…again not a god look.

Great place to stay. So close to port Arthur and other things to see. Great views from the restaurant, food was excellent. Room was clean and tidy. Bit disappointed there was no microwave or toaster to have an afternoon snack. Also not enough power point for everyone to charge their tech. Recommend a few power packs. Other than these small things. We had a great family getaway

We enjoyed to location to be able to explore port arthur historic site. The rooms although a bit dated were warm and cosy and clean. With a comfy bed. The restaurant meal was amazing large portions and so very tasty. Well done Justin. We will be back on our next visit.

Just the most fabulous location for access to the Historic site of Port Arthur, looked out my window & there it was. Staff were very helpful. The room was clean the heater was on, there was an electric blanket on the bed for the chilly night. Direct access to the Port Arthur site via a Gate on the property meant no more driving. The property itself needs a little update & the smell of cigarettes in the reception area was a but off putting but location location location.

Dinner at the restaurant was outstanding and great value. If you plan to stay at Port Arthur, this is where to do it. With your room key, you can enter Port Arthur at the Inn. Makes for convenient parking.

This motel paid attention to details. Wonderful linens and pillows, bed was awesome, and there was a small table with comfortable chairs. The view over the fields was lovely. The room had crown moulding, rounded corners and even a heat lamp for the bathroom. Very impressed with this motel.

Right across the fence from Port Arthur historic site. Receptionist staff very helpful with tips on places to visit, roads to take, maps. I followed all advice and it was all perfect, as was my stay.
