In an elevated position with panoramic views across Loch Fyne, this detached holiday home is ideal for those wishing to explore the west coast of Argyll. The idyllic village of Tarbert has a bustling harbour where you can sit and watch the boats coming and going, enjoy the cafés, bars and restaurants and visit the local art galleries. Tarbert hosts several popular seafood and music festivals throughout the year and is home to the Scottish Series Yacht Race. From the harbour you can catch one of the regular ferry crossings to Portavadie and explore the Cowal Peninsula. The beautiful islands of Arran, Islay, Gigha and Jura are also easily accessible from nearby ferry ports. Head south for the Mull of Kintyre with white sandy beaches and magnificent golf courses, or north to Kilmichael Glen steeped in history and archeological sites. Campbeltown Distillery, and Inveraray Jail and Castle also make for great days out. There is an abundance of wildlife and a variety of outdoor activities including sailing, sea fishing, cycling, walking and windsurfing. For the less adventurous, the garden at Devana Croft is the perfect place to sit and unwind, whilst taking in the stunning views. Beach 3 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Incredible croft with a truly stunning view.

Incredible croft with a truly stunning view. It’s hard not to spend all holiday staring out the large bay window. Tarbert cottage is quite simply wonderful. Spacious with everything you need and more. Gorgeous enclosed garden and outdoor patio. Ideally placed to explore the Kintyre peninsula. We loved every minute and will definitely be back. Thank you x

The croft is spotlessly clean, well equipped (everything you need from cooking utensils to wetsuits) and tastefully decorated throughout. The extra special bonus is the most amazing view across the Loch. We had the absolute treat of seeing a pod of dolphins hunting from the living room window, as well as watching the coming and goings of all the fishing boats, yachts and kayakers. Cannot recommend the croft highly enough and we will be returning as soon as we can 😍

Spent a lovely Christmas week here in this spacious, well equipped bungalow for our party of 5 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. A lovely thought from the owners was by way of a Christmas hamper on arrival and personalised chocolate for the children. The views over Loch Fyne were fantastic. Yes the drive up is steep but you couldn’t command such views without this being the case. Tarbert itself was quite sleepy while we were there but it was Christmas week so to be expected. There was a useful boot room for the dogs to dry off in after walks in the nearby forest. Ferries were frequent to the other islands. We had communication with the owners before our holiday with general questions and they replied straight away. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to others.

Excellent Accomodation in Tarbert with Amazing Views

Devana Croft is beautifully situated in the hills looking over Loch Fyne. A superbly decorated cottage with Unbeatable views and a lovely base from which to visit many areas on the Kintyre Peninsula..Shell Beach with crystal clear waters and lovely beaches all around. Car recommended to visit Westport Beach, Southend Beach ,Mull of Kintyre lighthouse and Islands of Gigha, Islay and more. Nice eateries in Tarbert, gift shops and a few pubs..well worth a visit.
