The home exudes New Mexico charm with its thick adobe walls, beamed viga ceilings and a kiva fireplace. Newly installed Mini Split AC units in each bedroom which cool the rest of the home when doors left open. A fully stocked kitchen with a charming dining room and outdoor dining area make entertaining easy any time of year. Two very separate master bedroom suites (one king; one queen) make this home an ideal choice for two couples. Each suite has 2 beautifully remodeled bathrooms featuring New Mexican travertine and sandstone. Completely updated, the home is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The park-like setting provides a quiet oasis with lovely gardens; a beautifully terraced yard and patio with old growth aspens and fruit trees, and a secluded hot tub (upcoming in September 2020) making this the perfect setting to unwind after touring galleries, or enjoying a vigorous day of hiking or skiing. We were a party of four adults and had plenty of room to stretch out. It has plenty of seating and was clean on arrival. It looks just like the pictures online and very cozy. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchen we have ever stayed in. The appliances are all top of the line with plenty of dishes/pans/utensils. The only down side in the kitchen was the coffee pot is very slow and needs a deep clean. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows were so thin they were almost nonexistent. There were a few small issues that we noticed right away and notified the caretaker. The biggest disappointment was the fireplace was not in working order and we were not informed of that prior to arrival. After our stay looking at reviews we noticed a review from four months prior that the fireplace was not working. We book rentals with fireplaces on all ski trips & should have been informed so we could make the decision to stay or find another place. Overall it was a great place and it worked for us but better communication would have been nice. ##### Eileen G. We liked the fact it has a yard and it was close to the plaza. It also looked great in the pictures.Once we got there, the property was exactly as described in the listing. It was stocked with all the equipment needed in the kitchen, and it was very functional. We took advantage of it to have many meals at home. Who wants to go out to eat for 31 days. The appliances all seemed to be pretty new and worked well. Taos has several grocery stores. Smiths is the closest, but Cids was our favorite.We really enjoyed the yard. It was large with lots of seating options. The yard has many trees that provide shade. Some of those are fruit trees which were ready for picking while we were there. When out walking, the surrounding streets were quite. Additionally, the Kit Karson park is close by as an additional option for walking. We are planning on returning to Taos next year for a month. Unfortunately, the property wasn’t available for our desired dates. It would have been a contender for us to rent. Probably the leader. Feb 5, 2024 #### Taos Ski Holiday Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was a perfect location to both walk to town during the day and to drive to Taos Ski Valley. It was clean, gorgeous, and comfortable. There are several great restaurants nearby or you can stay in for the night and cook in their well setup kitchen. We hope to visit again. ##### juli z. Art, color, and comfort abound. The gardens are delightful, and we enjoyed the covered outside area as it rained much of our visit. The bedrooms are stunning, and the kitchen made us want to eat most of our meals there.
