We had a dinner party and some friends came and we sat in the backyard by the garden and it’s just a lovely home with a beautiful vibe. It looks like the pictures and the description is very accurate. Walking to town it’s only about half a mile and it takes 15 to 20 minutes and you’re at the museums, perfect prime location near restaurants, grocery stores and nature on a dead end street. We also loved having morning coffee on the patio, surrounded by native flowers. Pictures were accurate, and the location was ideal--it was a quiet street, but we could have walked to the plaza. Temperatures were in the 80s and 90s the week we were there, and I'd think twice about booking here again in hot weather. Most Taos houses will cool down at night with all windows open (nights were 47-50 degrees), but this house never cooled down. Ceiling fans in bedrooms and living room helped a bit. My only criticism is that the combo to enter the front door is unnecessarily long. 10 digits, really? Didn't get it memorized until the last day.
