People are very attentive and really put a honest effort to please us and any other guest. There are eating options around the hotel, including a mall and the beach.

I’ve visited properties that distribute maps and explain options. In this instance, that was not done. The hotel is feeling a bit older, as far as cleanliness, esp, bathrooms. Hallways and dark/damp. Doesn’t feel very luxurious. Also, no ac right now. Our room was unbearably hot. I explained that to the desk. They offered to change the room, suggesting it was isolated. The next room…no ac. I mean…

The hotel staff are all amazing from the people working in the breakfast bar, cleaners and reception staff were all very welcoming and accommodating. We unfortunately had to arrive a day late for a family emergency and the hotel were extremely understanding which I really appreciated. Would definitely recommend as there is a shopping centre right near the hotel and the beach is 2 roads away! I will definitely be coming back here, thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Slept over 8 hours a day when we stayed for 3 nights which is rare for us. It was quiet, very centrally located to restaurants and entertainment. Felt safe. Walking distance to all the conveniences as well as the boardwalk next to the waters. Great central location. Their breakfast buffet was ample in selection. Loved their Moroccan olives and salad selection in addition to the usual protein and carb selections.

My first visit to Royal Tulip with Swiss friends visiting from abroad. I love this hotel and particularly the wonderful staff that epitomises the famed Moroccan hospitality. Hamza made our check in fast and smooth. He is great! Abid helped us with luggage and generally made our stay sweeter. Soukaina at the excellent Tapas restaurant was super friendly and very professional. By the way, the restaurant serves a variety of international dishes as well as Spanish tapas. Must try! I can definitely recommend and am already booking my next visit.

May be a great business stay hotel. There is nothing touristy near by and it is just a normal everyday 5 star hotel. The pool and bar is nice but nothing outstanding

#1 Hotel in Tangier. Stay at least 3 nights.
This was an amazing stay. 8 minute walk from train station. Very curtious and helpful staff. Clean, the cleanist. Someone is cleaning something 24/7. Room/beds are spacious and comfortable. This is a resort hotel you will not want to leave. Oh, and the pool was awesome. The food and drinks at the pool side resturant is great. The room service food is great too. We did eat in the main resturant which I would not recomend. Room service food and pool side were much better. Breakfast was included and they serve so many options in food and drink there is something for everyone. The best breakfast from a hotel I have experienced in over a month of traveling through Europe and Africa. There are less exspensive places to stay, that is true in any city. But The Royal Tulip gives you the biggest bang for your buck. Seriously, this is a Las Vegas level high end resort at a great price. I doubt a more expensive hotel in Tangier can offer you more. Book here, it is worth every dime.

Very good!
Having not stayed at a Tulip hotel before I was a little hesitant. I soon discover though that this was unnecessary! Our 2 rooms were big, modern, spacious, light, comfortable and with a great view out to the ocean. The breakfast buffet was extensive and tasty. The staff were all polite, friendly and efficient, with the one exception of the guys whose job it was to hail you a taxi.

Don't hesitate, BOOK IT!
I can't RAVE enough about our Royal Tulip stay! Back story: Due to flight delays, we arrived at 1:30 am. Nervous because check in is clearly stated between 3-12 am and Hotels.com states you must contact the hotel for check in, which I could not. Miraculously, we were able to acquire a taxi from the airport at that hour and there sat a lovely gentleman at the front desk waiting to welcome us and check us in! After almost 48 hours of travel it was such a relief to arrive and still have our rooms! As a bonus, at 1:30 am we were even able to order room service and a bottle of wine! Aside from carpets being a bit worn, our rooms were clean and lovely! Each had a full balcony overlooking the marina. Beds and linens were soft and comfortable. The bathrooms were beautiful! That said, the best part about our stay was the hotel staff! They were ALL so gracious and attentive. The front desk even helped us acquire a private driver to the Blue City at a very reasonable rate. Breakfast each morning was top notch. Better than any hotel breakfast I've ever had! We also ate dinner in one of the restaurants which was excellent! 5 star all the way. In addition, the hotel is conveniently located approximately 5 mins walk from the train station which worked well for us. Bottom line, our stay far exceed our expectations at the Royal Tulip! I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend other travelers to do the same! We will be back.

The hotel was very clean and modern. Food choices were great, and there was a chance to have an alcoholic drink in the bar. Concierge arranged an excellent day tour of Tangier, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was central in Tangier, across from the train station so it was easy to walk to many things.

Well located near train station, mall and beach. I had an issue with the fridge and safe but staff was very attentive on both counts. Too bad they have a continuously operating perfume machine in the lobby pumping out obnoxious smells all day.

The hotel was very clean and it is located a few minutes away from the mall and beach which is great. I would have given it a 5 star but my dress went missing which is so disappointing. I did not take it out of my luggage at any point, which means someone went through my stuff and stole it. If you are staying here, I would advise you to put your belongings in the safe.

Breakfast was not various as I expected, not a lot to choose and also not enough placed for everyone. Tables were not cleaned after guests left them. When we found a table, the table was always dirty. There should be more employees that are cleaning and preparing the tables for the guests, so they can take place at a clean table to eat. Even when I went on different times. The Moroccan tea is not available as should be. The employee gets a few glasses from the kitchen, while guests are waiting. Very ineffecient, as many guests are expected to have breakfast. Conclusion: breakfast looked not organised, chaotic and not various. The rooms are noisy. During our 4 night stay we had a couple with little children above us. I understand how hard it can be to hendle children during the holiday, but unfortunately when they came in the night hours they made a lot of noise by playing and running with a ball. And every early morning a baby cried. This was dispointing as we had not our full rest during our stay in the hotel.
