"I love this hotel in Tampico. We found it 25 years ago before the area was all built up. Even with the business of the surrounding area, the hotel remains a peaceful retreat with a beautiful garden and pool with birds and nature abounding. There is a full service restaurant with a great breakfast and it serves dinner until about 10 or 11. Even though the rooms are a little older, they are nice and the bed is very comfortable. The Posada de Tampico is convenient to the airport and to shopping and the hotel always welcomes us. Their staff is very friendly and accommodating. This hotel is always our first and last stop when we travel in Mexico. "
