This premiere studio sits in a newly constructed building, next door to a sister studio unit (Casa Romeo), and just above a local coffee shop, Pete's Bagels. Casa Julieta is pet-friendly and sleeps up to 4 people. The Space: "Casa Julieta" is newly constructed studio with brand new furnishings and top-of-the-line fixtures. This second floor studio is perched atop a coffee shop and sits next door to a brand new dog park on E 4th Ave, just 3 short blocks from the main strip of Ybor City. You will absolutely love the Cuban-themed decor and the intricate details throughout the home! Take full advantage of the fully stocked kitchen which offers stainless steel appliances, a timeless Smeg refrigerator, Keurig Coffee Maker and a complimentary starter kit of coffee supplies. Staying in? Relax on the plush suede sofa and catch up on your favorite shows with the large flat screen Smart TV. The sofa pulls out into a Queen sized bed, which sleeps 2 adults comfortably. Count your Z's on the incredibly comfortable Queen bed that is equipped with a hybrid memory foam mattress. Please keep in mind this is a studio unit, the only separate room is the full bathroom. Casa Julieta is stocked with everything you need during your stay in Tampa Bay including free high speed WiFI, a private washer and dryer with laundry pods, toiletries, and fresh hotel style linens! Guest Access: Guests will receive a 6-digit access code to enter the unit. The Neighborhood: Founded in the 1880s, the Historic Ybor City district is well known for its eclectic collection of culture and countless cigar factories in which the city was named, for Don Vincent Martinez Ybor. Take a stroll down the original red brick streets and step into a piece of history. Indulge in a comedy show at The Improv, dine at the historic Columbia Restaurant or explore the local shops, bars, and artisans that make the Ybor community so rich! Getting Around: Ybor City is notorious for the street trolley system- it's free, runs every 15 minutes and has many stops throughout Ybor, Downtown Tampa and Channelside! Ybor City is a very walkable neighborhood however, there are also self-service bicycles and electric scooters available for rent in the area via any of the scooter rental apps. (Bird, Uber, Lime, etc.) If you are planning on exploring the Greater Tampa Bay Area, there are many car rental storefronts at the airport and in the surrounding area! Tampa and Ybor City have a plethora of street parking, garage parking and pay by app parking. Other Things to Note: \- PETS: We are pet-friendly and allow up to two pets. Our pet fee is $15/night, charged after the reservation is booked. We expect all owners to pick up after their pets and supply their own waste bags. Any damages caused by your animal will result in additional fees. You must notify us if you are bringing an animal! \-Smoking: smoking of any type is strictly prohibited on the property and especially within the unit. A $500 fee will be charged to anyone who smokes inside the unit. \- This unit requires a flight of stairs to enter. \- Exterior security cameras are located on the property. \- The property sits next door to a dog park and above a coffee shop, so there is a potential for residual noise in this busy area. I was unaware from the email that the property was upstairs, and the dark area made it difficult to see. Clean and new, over a trendy coffee and bagel shop. Despite the shop being a hot spot, there wasn’t much noise from it. It is adjacent to a well maintained and clean dog park so you do hear dogs barking once in a while, but not a lot and only during the day. The studio was plenty big enough for the two of us plus our doggy. The bed was very comfortable and sturdy. The unit was well equipped with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, including things like bottle openers and scissors. The description said there was a coffee maker but it’s actually a Keurig, which we were not prepared for. We liked having the dog park next door which made it easy for our doggie to have a place to go, plus he made lots of friends. We only had 1 issue with the unit which was the bathroom pocket door. It does not stay closed and there was no latch/locking mechanism on it. We had to stuff a towel under the door to keep it closed. There were also no dog bowls in the unit. We did bring our own but it would be nice to have them on hand for those who forget them so the dogs are not using the bowls intended for people. ##### Lisa O.
