Nestled in bushland on Tamborine Mountain with views to the coast, this property is just a few minutes to all of the wonderful attractions on the mountain including including rainforest walks, wineries, cafes, restaurants, Thunderbird Park, Cedar Creek and all of the unique shops on the mountain. This stunning cottage boasts elegance and the convenience of modern living with high quality furnishings and fittings throughout. The property is ideal for up to six guests for a single night, weekend getaway or longer stay. Relax on the large decking and enjoy the bushland views. Enjoy the elegant and comfortable 'Hampton' style decor, modern fully-equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi, smart TV, ducted air-conditioning. There is a lock-up garage for 1 car. Check-in is generally from 2:00pm and check-out at 11:00am. However, anytime check-in or check-out is offered when available. The property is pet-friendly. However, we ask that your furry friends not be left alone at the property as the yard is not secure. We loved sitting on the balcony viewing all the different birds who came to visit. We saw kookaburras, cockatoos, parrots, bower birds and various other species. Very clean and well presented and equiped very well in the kitchen. I was particularly impressed with the small tube of tooth paste and tooth brush in the ensuite, particularly as I had left mine behind. A few points to make though; The tight point toward the house at the end of garage could use a cut back. The home on entry smelt of sewage(at entry area) & dog but aired out quickly once opened. Sewerage smell still occasionally near door/ kitchen window. So pretty & inviting once aired. The main bathroom glass panel may or may not be considered precarious as my 25 yo gripped it only slightly to get out of shower and fell to the floor, not realising it was hinged (quite severe bruising on thigh & wrist damage). We were concerned that had it been a hard grip the swinging glass may have smashed on the towel rail. The Mount Tamborine books are great, as is the decor & layout of the home. Deck we used only once (due to rain) but is a beautiful space (maybe needs some citronella burners or mozzi coils available). Grateful for the dining table & loved the lighting especially in the kitchen, so bright & cool but not hard. The gifts were truly appreciated as was the experience of you special home.
