The unit had no water pressure to shower (humid and 35 degrees Celsius) or clean the dishes. I have notified the property manager that I will be moving after the first two nights requesting a refund for the last three days. Small yet perfect for us. Excellent location. Away from the crowds in town, but close enough to access easily. This casita was perfect for location & charm. Walking distance to Tamarindo yet far enough away. The VBRO is exactly as described and better. The open air feeling when the doors and windows are open made for the most perfect mornings. The natural path to the beaches at Playa Langosta is just steps away. The casita has simple touches like Turkish towels and neutral decor. I didn’t want to leave. I feel the benefit of staying in a VBRO is to feel like you live there. This was so true for this location. Resident wildlife like the iguana that lives in the tiles above the porch was a friend every morning for yoga and coffee. Want to be a part of the howler monkeys daily parade? This incredible moment occurs right over the casita as they join for their daily food. Don’t worry - they stay in the trees. It’s a magical experience I was able to contact the owner with split second response. To include - “where did you get the cool wind chimes “;).
