Im Gegensatz zu einer überteuerten Übernachtung auf der Insel ist das Guest House Kikusui Ryokan eine preiswerte Alternative. Fährfahrt ist ein zusätzliches Erlebnis um die Kunstinsel in 20 min. zu erreichen. Auf der Kunstinsel sind einige wichtige Museen, von Ando entworfen, und viele Kunstwerke im Außenbereich zu besichtigen. Wer kennt ihn nicht den gelben Kürbis. Clean, OK, but a bit shabby. The attendant, however, was extremely friendly and very helpful. She sent us to a wonderful restaurant. I don't think you have much choice if you want to stay near the ferry to Naoshima - and it is pretty close.
