Wonderful stay, cant wait to go back!
Fabulous stay at Bellamar. Was here for a quick 2-day girls trip and everything was great. Super clean, comfortable beds, great pool and plenty of sun loungers also a decent gym and spa facilities (although didn't use). The hotel decor is a little dated but honestly didn't both me as it was so clean and best of all QUIET! Really friendly staff especially at reception. Great location, supermarket at the back of the hotel and a lovely little beach where you can watch the famous sunset in peace with no ravers. I will absolutely stay at this hotel again. Also great choice at breakfast!

Lovely hotel. Good location. Close enough to everything but far away enough to not feel too busy. The staff were very hospitable and accommodating. The food was delicious. Excellent choice. I would stay here again.

A truly lovely hotel - with staff who care
Long weekend - arrived late and staff were very efficient as we checked in. The most lovely surprise was delivered to our room as we celebrated our anniversary and had honeymooned at this hotel 31 years ago. Breakfast excellent and pool area is beautiful

No me gusto el hotel un cuarto olio todo el Tiempo a cigarro siendo q se supone es un hotel de no fumar el servicio fue muy pobre se supone q te incluía cafe todos los días y nunca lo pusieron tenía q pedirlo y De mala gana me lo proporcionaban y la Vdd muy caro para lo q ofrecen no me gusto ni la zona ni nada definitivo no lo recomendaría

Good stay
Overall a good basic hotel. Rooms a clean and spacious, but with dated decor. Staff are helpful and friendly. Well located for the beach clubs. The rooms were not well sound proofed however. I could hear conversations in the next room.

A quiet oasis
A quiet little oasis at the end of the strip. Spotlessly clean with some of the best staff I have come across in 35 years of business travel. Some 5 star big name hotels I have stayed in could learn a lesson in customer relations from these people. Food, although buffet service was excellent with a wide choice to suit every palette . The pool area was very smart with good furniture and shades. The gym was very basic and could be improved upon. However it was overall a great place to stay with the bonus of secure under cover parking.

Close to fun but tranquil place to relax
So gorgeous to arrive to a clean suite with jacuzzi bath, chilled bubbly and a huge basket of fruit. Perfect for me and my two daughters. We all had massages in the spa which were superb. It took away my pent up stress and my shoulders can move again. Thank you so much Hotel Bellamar I feel human again! X

Excellent summer break. Staff excelled especially at reception and the bar. The location was perfect not noisy at night and located across the road to the beach. We went as a couple and couldnt complain. Even to have a car park for hire car was a bonus.

Had the best 5 night break at the Bellamar. The food was amazing especially dinner with a great choice of meats. Hard to refrain from going up multiple times. Breakfast was always great too with someone to personally cook your eggs as you require. Location great and set one street back from behind the main walk strip where the bars and restaurants are. Even tho so close it was quiet so relaxing at the pool was not a problem. We walked right round the bay every morning after breakfast and after dinner. Was lovely and relaxing. Never went on them but the beaches look lovely and clean. Gym okay but needs additional equipment other than mainly cardio.The staff are very friendly and our room was cleaned everyday. They even let us get something from the snack bar for free upon arrival as we were too late for dinner! Will def be going back for our next short break.

This property was very clean and the staff were very helpful. The swimming pool needed to have music on for more of the day and its also in the shade most of the day which was a shame but overall the whole place was great

Fabulous weekend
Stayed for the weekend and will definitely be going back, the outside area and pool are amazing, staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are more traditional but very clean. We were very surprised at the amount of choice for breakfast which also included cava if you fancied it. Excellent value for money.

We expected so much more given the price we paid. On the positive side, the location is great and the pool area lovely and there was never an issue in getting sunloungers. Our room was clean and fairly modern but pretty average when compared with other hotels we have stayed at in Ibiza. The reception and indoor bar area is dated and in need of a re-furb. There was generally a good selection of breakfast items but at times the hot food appeared a little scrappy. On a number of mornings the majority of the tables had not been not cleared of dirty plates and we struggled to find a clean table to sit at for breakfast. We requested to move rooms and were told that we could move to a higher floor better view room on the second morning. Despite the reception area filled with guests checking out on the second morning we were informed that there were no higher/better rooms and that the hotel was now full. This was frustrating and I just wish they had been honest from the start rather than tell us we were moving to then disappoint us.

Nice hotel, close to the beach or city center. But line 9 stops 2 minuets away from the hotel which take you to the airport. That’s very convenient. You pay only 4 euro each way instead of 35 for taxi. Staff is extremely helpful. Only minuse is the pillows. I think they need to have a better quality ones. Other than that this hotel is perfect especially if you have a sea view room. The scenery is gorgeous

Nice little hotel in a perfect location
This hotel is great - quiet, very well maintained. Our room was nicely furnished, sizeable by European standards with a nice size balcony. Free breakfast was superb. In all our travels across North America and Europe Bellamar’s breakfast was by far the best in quality and selection. Same goes for the dinner buffet, which at €15/person is a real bargain, given the offerings. Highly recommend and will definitely book it again.

Awful staff ruined what could have been an ok hote
If you want a very basic room then this is probably not the worst place you will stay in but beware of hotel and cleaning staff bothering you an hour before you have to check out!! At 11 I got a call from reception to tell me what I already knew about the check out time, 10 minutes later an extremely rude cleaning lady looking at her watch and sighing (plainly she wanted to leave early and all these customers that pay for her to have a job aren’t very important) then 30 minutes later (20 minutes before I was due to check out) a man knocking on my door constantly to see what time I was leaving while I was in the shower!!! Absolutely disgusted! I stayed here two years ago and must have checked out waaaaaay before noon as I never got any of this harassment but I won’t make that mistake again! Avoid!!!

My daughter and I stayed at the Bellamar from 9th-16th Sept after a last minute booking. The hotel is in a great position. Over the road from the beach, one minute from local supermarket and bus stops. It's a short distance away from the busy clubs of San Antonio - so close enough to walk to them but far away not to be disturbed by the noise and hustle and bustle of the nightlife if you want a quiet place. The hotel has a mixture of people from early 20's through to people of a mature age. Think it's fair to say the week we stayed the majority of people were middle aged. The staff at the hotel are exceptionally friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is very good (we were on a breakfast and evening meal rate) and the choice is extensive. The rooms are very comfortable and kept wonderfully clean by the cleaning team every day. The pool area is kept imaculate and there were always plenty of sunbeds. Pool was freezing but that's nothing new! We paid for a massage treatment in the spa and this was great. Not cheap but worth the money for a holiday treat. The spa facilities themselves were not anything special and there are only 2 seats to sit and chill. Drinks are not cheap. We bought soft drinks from the supermarket and used the small fridge in our room for us to have during the day. Overall we had a fab holiday and would definitely choose this hotel if we were returning to Ibiza. Deserves its star rating.

Perhaps this is a good hotel for the area, but there are some serious deficiencies with it. I can't understand how it is rated as it is, nor how it gets good reviews. The air conditioning does not work. I was offered another room and it similarly was poor. It had to be left on all day to be slightly cool in the evening and even then the room could not be considered to be cold. Furthermore, the WiFi did not work, being slow and with a weak signal. The system was restarted twice but this did not work with the WiFi frequently dropping off. Bed uncomfortable. Other guests very noisy into early hours of the morning. Bathroom had no hair conditioner, no tissues. No waste bin in room. No stationary.

Very good hotel
First impression was that the hotel was spotlessly clean and focused on providing the best possible guest experience. The staff were superb and always welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable the air conditioning was quiet and the bathroom lovely. Considering how close you are to the bars and clubs the hotel and rooms are very quiet. Meals that we had in the hotel were fresh and well prepared with a good variety. Drinks in the bar we felt were expensive but in line with prices in San Antonio.
