As others have mentioned, the main building is older, while the annex is newer. But, the main is remodeled and was comfortable enough. Nothing special, but it was directly adjacent the train station.

Breakfast was the best yet and staff were great and position is near the rail, but their rooms have outdated bathroom modules which have a high step in and out. These were new ideas 20 years ago but i was 20 yrs younger then and despite the warning sign designed to limit liability the had no grab bars which would have helped getting in and out. At 70 i consider myself reasonably agile but i still managed to pull my achilles tendon and will now have to reduce my activity over the last couple of weeks of my holiday. These bathrooms are not suitable for older tourists or thouse with restricted abilities.

Front of the station, you won't miss it. Very good hot spring however, not running water. One thing I would say, noting around hotel and station. Difficult to find dinner place especially night time.

Great location as it is 1 min walk from the JR station. Nice staff! But the room is small and the toilet facility is quite old that the ventilation is not functioning properly.

It being a 1 min walk away from the train station was a major plus for me. It is a great location to have day trips to Arita and Imari, if you are into pottery. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic!

Service. The young Japanese-speaking Nepalese lady at the check in counter is extremely friendly and helpful and confident. Wonderful !!!

Tiny room
I like that the hotel is next to the train station. That’s the only plus I can see. The room is too small and good for one person. My husband and I were bumping each other and we don’t know where to put the luggage to open it. Breakfast time is by schedule. You will be provided a breakfast time, and sorry if you missed your time slot.

- Reception gave us a smoking floor when we booked a non smoking room and the smell was terrible. - Lack of parking facilities and we had to a distance and pay the parking fee. - Room photo was different was actual room which I believe the photo is for the new wing. - Onsen was comfortable and saved the overall experience

Fairly comfortable stay
Can hear the operation of the lift from my room. Because of this, i got woken up a few times. Location is great because it is just next to the station. Staff is friendly.

Very happy with our stay
Very friendly and helpful. Room was typically small for Japanese hotels but it was comfortable and clean. It had lots of amenities. The breakfast was very good. The cost was low for the value. We were very happy with our stay.

It's quite near the takeo onsen station. Around 5 minutes walk from there. Such a cosy place to stay.

Nice hotel near Takeoonsen JR Station
Nice hotel with good price, good place about 300 meters from Takeonsen JR Station and bus stop. I stayed on 11th floor with nice view outside window. Room is clean and confort.

The hotel is very close to the train station and they have a wonderful breakfast. I am gluten intolerant and the chef went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary needs.

本館（旧館）でしたが、禁煙ルームにも拘らずタバコ臭さ、狭い、天井梁に結露が発生し深夜にはポタポタ水滴が落ちてきました。浴衣風室内着は襟がぼろぼろでゴワゴワ、朝食も並以下でした。唯一、屋外通路を渡った新館最上階の大浴場とベランダ風の露天風呂は広く大変気持ち良く利用できました。周辺環境は居酒屋が多く美味しく頂け、駅に隣接した立地は便利です。お部屋だけは追加料金出しても、ぜひ新館（多分良いはず）が良いと感じました。
