I almost didn't book this hotel because of the shared showers but don't let this stop you! Each room has a private sink and toilet and comfortable western beds. Think of the showers as your own private onsen. There are two private shower rooms. Each with a changing room and shower room. The shower room has two showers and a beautiful wooden hot tub. It is clean and comfortable and a very enjoyable experience. The food is AMAZING! we loved it so much we ate dinner there twice. The owners are lovely and the service is kind and genuine. The fact the hotel is 10 minutes from the city center is a bonus. It's in a beautiful and quiet area with great views of the mountains. The hotel has luxury vans and will shuttle you into the city as needed. Si vous cherchez le calme, la sérénité, la poésie, c’est ici qu’il faut venir. Les onsen sont parfaits avec de grandes fenêtres ouvertes sur la forêt. Mais surtout je veux souligner la gentillesse inouïe des hôtes qui ont été attentionnés, serviables, délicats, à chaque minute, et nous ont même fait découvrir un paradis naturel autour d’une rivière cachée dans la montagne.
