But I have to say, there seems something wrong with the management system because they only assigned two front desk staff for check-in. This in my view a very poor and unprofessional arrangement for weekend crowd. We waited for 40 minutes to complete check-in and I feel so bad for the employees at the reception. They weee so nice and patient even under great pressure due to labour shortage. However, their working flow has big problem which cause long waiting queue at the check-in counter. When I entered the lobby, there were about 10 customers in the waiting queue but the hotel only had 2 staff at the counter. I wait probably more than 15 minutes before been serviced. It was a terrible mistake. Arriving at the hotel, the parking garage was run-down, no attendants, had to walk through a maze to get to the elevator. Check-in was fine. The room was weird. Felt like a meeting room re-used as a bedroom. Weird dividing wall with curtains. Bathroom was dirty. Tub and shower was covered in mold. The included breakfast was not good. Nothing seem particularly fresh. The children playroom was old and the "Texas Bar" was a joke. All of this is forgivable, the one thing that is not, cockroaches.
