Comfy stay at VIA Hotel
It was a 1st time staying here and I was pleased with the service of all the staff of VIA Hotel. Location is walking distance to the mrt and ximending shopping area. Hotel provide snacks and drinks for guest 24 hrs and a comfy area for u to relax while waiting to check in. Staff are very friendly and approachable and always ready to assist u when in need. Room is comfortable with the good air conditioning and excellent TV entertainment. Keep it up and I will definitely stay here again when back in Taipei👍👍👍😊

nice snack bar with free tea eggs every morning! There is a coffee machine, ginger tea and milk tea etc too. I like the hot and warm water dispenser, don't need to boil water in room anymore! Room is small though, there is no wardrobe, hardly has space to put clothes. There is a free mini massage device in the room!

Excellent service and great location
The service is excellent and the location of the hotel is very convenient. The snacks and drinks provided free at the lobby area is a very nice gesture from the hotel. The staff are courteous and warm all the time. We had a great stay!

Excellent services. Front desk was passionate, served with great hospitality. The room was a little bit dusty though. Room for improvement in bathroom design. Water splashed all over when taking shower. Food station was amazing!

We picked Via Hotel Ximen because of their availability of quad rooms, convenient location, and their 24/7 lobby/snack area - nice place to hang out. Communication was very responsive. Would have given 5 stars but the airport transfer we booked thru hotel (took several calls and some waiting time but bus did show up) had a slight miscommunication - I was assured several times to not worry. Staff was friendly. I would book again.

Great Staff, Good Location
We were a little concerned when we were walking to the hotel because it is on a market street filled with stinky tofu and you enter through a store, but our stay ended up being great! The room was spacious, clean, and the bath was relaxing. It was quiet and the staff was both friendly and incredibly helpful. They made multiple calls for us to set up restaurant reservations and gave us directions whenever needed (including to a pharmacy to pick up cold medication—they also translated the medication directions for us). There was free laundry on site and endless snacks in the lobby area. The location is great, reasonably close to a metro stop and within a very bustling shopping/food area. It is not a peaceful area if that's what you're looking for, but after a week in Taipei we thought we stayed in the most interesting area of the city.

Wonderful stay. My first choice of hotel each time visit Taipei. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic. Near to the center of commending yet is quite and discrete.

Overall very Nice and pleasant. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Located right at Ximen shopping area. Food are easily available from within the hotel. Perhaps toilet should have a latch to prevent children from accidentally open the door

Everything that you can ask for - for a 3 star hotel Great location,convenient yet it’s not noisy Like that they provide complimentary snacks and drinks at the hotel lobby/lounge area. They even have a little area for you to take any toiletries you need near the counter without having the need to ask someone Walking distant to mrt ,loads of food and places to shop,we even walked to carrefour to grab our last min souvenirs

AWESOME!
It has been an awesome stay with VIA, which is conveniently situated within ximending and less than 5 mins walk to Ximen Station. Room is clean and well maintened. Breakfast is not provided but they do however provide a variety of local snacks, tea eggs are provided in the morning and cup noodles at night with limited quantity, first come first serve basis. The staffs there are very kind and helpful. They even did up a simple birthday card with all their signatures on it and a cup toaster as a gift. How heart warming and sweet of them to do so. Definitely will choose VIA if I were to visit Taipei again.

Really good hotel in Ximending near Metro
Pretty good hotel, friendly staffs that greet you 24hrs a day. Had a few tables and chairs in the main lobby for you to eat your snacks and foods etc. They provided instant noodle after a certain timing at night and tea leaf eggs In the morning around 9am (Didn't eat anything as we went out for breakfast) Room conditions was very good but space is very limited as when we put the luggage on the floor, we don't have any space to walk at all. Not sure if it's just us or all rooms are the same as we took and pay more for a slightly better superior room. Location is nearby Metro within few mins walking distance and hotel might be hard to find for first timer so it's better to do your research by checking Google map. Hotel is also near to lots of street food vendor and claw machines, excellent placement. The only downside is the lack of space in the room but I will definitely choose this hotel again if I go back to Taiwan. 4.5/5.0 for me. Jayden 2019.

Super great location
Great service from all the staff since reservation process till check out and you can not beat the location!! Quiet room with comfortable beds. Bathroom has less privacy and the room is smaller than advertised. Overall a very great stay. Would definitely recommend the place to everyone.

Receptionist was very friendly. Mini snack bar near the reception area was a very nice touch. You can take a break throughout the day. Bed was comfortable. Location of the hotel was great. Some areas of the hotel can be cleaned better.

Although this hotel does not offer any fancy buffet breakfast for guests. That is fine because the still offer alternatives to accommodate with guests that are staying at the hotel and that is really thoughtful of them. Very convienient and friendly staff.
