"We booked a night here as part of our 25th anniversary trip, staying in the Oak room, and it was one of the greatest highlights of our entire trip. The warm welcome upon arrival and beautifully maintained room in the original section of the castle all set the stage for a memorable stay (my wife especially liked the copper tub). We had a delicious dinner at the Green Lady pub (rounded out with dessert and a single malt). One of the high points was the history/ghost tour given by Rodney the night porter. We can't thank him enough, as the history of the castle as well as events there or in the area blew us away. Can't recommend enough!"
