Design is very unique and appealing, the little details were unexpected but we really appreciate it. Nice bathtub, delicious complimentary cookies. The staff were very polite and efficient. We could choose the pillows we prefer too. The area is interesting with unique shops and eateries around but it is not so near the trains. The room was very small though (elite dbl.room) and the I wish there were sheer curtains so that we could keep let in some natural light without feeling like we were staring into the pre-school or apartments across the street, and vice versa. As a result we kept the curtains closed most of the time, which made it feel even smaller. But there is no service here, most staffs have attitude, breakfast staff is the worst. There is no customer service. I went at 7am when it started, the coffee was cold, and I need milk to go with it. The staff told me that he is busy to set up and coffee is cold cause it just being on the warmer? No offer for warming up it! And it should be my problem I come at the beginning! The reception staff were great and very helpful in everything i ask. They also provided very good advices about my stay there. I have been to several hotels in Taichung before but thos one is by far my favorite now. The green theme of hotel was not only great it had also beautiful design.
