The neighbors beaches are also private, so please do not pick up or harvest any items from their private beach. Guests can walk for miles along the road in either direction from the cabin. If you head north about a quarter mile you'll come to a public park where you can walk all you want along the beach. You can cross the river and head up into the woods for a more challenging hike with incredible views. I will not be present during my guest's stay. I live less than 2 hours away and can be available if needed. I do have a wonderful contractor & housekeeper who live in the area who are available to come if needed for emergencies. This cabin has been in my family for 80 years and I LOVE it! I grew up coming to the cabin, and it has been my pleasure restoring it and bringing it to its current magical condition. It is the perfect place to unplug, rest, and recharge . I’m catering to renters who will treat the La Fleur cabin carefully as if they were staying at a friend's house. I chose to back into the driveway because pulling out the view is obstructed and could be an accident situation since traffic moves a little faster than the speed limit. Other than that, our host Susan was so warm and inviting and quick to answer any questions. The neighborhood is friendly and always waving. (Given the awesome retro decor, maybe I should say the cabin was groovy). When the advertisement says pet friendly, thats an understatement. There were ceramic food and water bowls.
