The location is beautiful and so are the views! Great balcony scenery, quiet, and peaceful.The drive to the property was very therapeutic. Not too far for amenities if needed. Jul 8, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Meeks Bay location... steps away from the Lake We, at the last minute, to come up to Tahoe for 4th of July, and to our surprise, found this house. It's in the Meeks Bay area (right off the main highway) and about .4 miles away from the entrance of the MB resort. It's also about 20 mins from South LT (where you'll pass Emerald Bay, The Viking House and Baldwin Beach) The house itself, while a bit older, was a great location and had great (partially blocked) views of the Lake. The BBQ grill and hot tub on the main patio deck provided a great place to hang out and dine al fresco. The rest of the house was comfortable to house us and a total of 4 teenagers. With regard to MB resort, there is a much smaller road that can get your there w/o having to walk on the highway shoulder, so that was also a huge plus. The neighborhood was very quiet in the evening which was a nice bonus. Communication with the host was very quick and efficient. Answered all my questions in a timely manner. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out plus space to cook, enjoy meals together and play games by the fire in the evening.
