Situated just under 3 miles from Tahoe City, the home is less than a mile’s walk from the beautiful and sandy Bristlecone Beach and Skylandia Beach, both of which feature BBQ areas and walking trails, great for a family day in the sun.  
  
For a more active adventure, head down the street to access a bike path that winds through the woods or continues along the west shore to the famous Meeks Bay. In the winter months, you’re only 15 minutes from Palisades Tahoe ski resorts, 20 minutes from Northstar ski resort, and less than 5 minutes from the Tahoe City Nordic Center, where you can XC ski and snowshoe.  
  
If a more relaxed outing is what you’re after, the charming town of Tahoe City is just a few miles away. There, you’ll find grocery stores, a variety of dining options, boutique shops, a movie theater, a beachfront park, a farmers market, and live music. Whether you’re seeking outdoor adventures or a peaceful escape, this home is the perfect launching pad for year-round fun in Tahoe!  
  
Getting Around:  
  
This home’s central location just off HWY 28 makes it easy to explore North Lake Tahoe without a vehicle. The TART stop, less than half a mile away at HWY 28 and Old Mill Road, serves the Mainline route along the western shore from Tahoma to Incline Village. Additional transit options are available in Tahoe City, a short 5-minute drive, with bus lines connecting to Northstar California Resort, Olympic Valley, and other nearby destinations.  
  
For those driving, the home offers quick access to the main highway, providing a convenient base for exploring nearby attractions, beaches, and ski resorts—all within a 25-minute drive.
