It was a family trip with ages ranging from 1 to 96 and the house was great for everyone. The game room was a highlight for the kids. We also spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the view and weather. The location is very close to beaches, boat rentals, restaurants, etc.The host was very responsive to our messages. The house was clean, spacious, and fully equipped to meet our needs in the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry, and game room. It was even well equipped for our grandchildren, ages 3 and 21 months, with a nice Pack & Play, high chair, baby gates, and dinnerware. The amenities were above and beyond! The location is perfect as it is minutes from Tahoe City, which we loved! We enjoyed many of the local restaurants and shops. It is also very close to Kings Beach, Incline Village where we rented e-bikes and biked to Sand Harbor, and Emerald Bay, as well as many hiking trails. There was a little heat wave that hit during our stay and being from the mid-west we anticipated the stay would be uncomfortable without A/C. No problem! Ample fans were available and Joanne reached out to us immediately and shared how to draw the cool mountain air in at night and keep the house cool during the day. We were totally comfortable! Joanne was the perfect hostess...always prompt and on top of providing us with information! Tahoe is not just for winter! Our family highly recommends a summer trip to this beautiful area and to stay at Slopes to Shore. You will not be disappointed! ##### Denise B. Had to open all the windows and spray a little air freshener. The house was exactly as described in many ways, and better in others. The owners added a new game room that our teens loved. The linens, many kitchen items and more felt fresh and new. They had beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella available for use, which was great as our friends were obviously not able to bring those items from the east coast. Other things, like providing shampoo, conditioner, and paper products, was really nice - as many rentals go so far as to tell you to bring your own toilet paper!While we had no issues during our stay, the owner was quick to respond to an email I sent during our stay. They also have a binder full of information about the home and area. House was perfect for our needs. Having a crib, high chair and some toys made packing much easier. We spent a lot of time just relaxing on the deck. Just a short ways up there were well maintained trails out to Paige Meadows or into town. The stroller could even handle them. We made meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub must have been replaced because it’s even nicer than the one in her ad. Wish we had gone a little earlier because the Sunnyside deck was closed already but we ate outside at Bridgetender and Chambers. Couldn’t have had a nicer 4 days and the location of this house is perfect for enjoying the west shore. ##### David W. We made great use of each of the many bedrooms, the childrens' toys & books, board games, high chair, crib, baby gates, childrens' utensils, extra blankets & pillows, extra fans, and cookware. I especially appreciated that there were essentials in the refrigerator and pantry, so we didn't need to buy things like condiments, butter, coffee, and more. It was seamless to book and stay in this home. Sitting on the upper deck in the morning with coffee was the highlight of each day. I would recommend this home to any large groups, especially given the many bathrooms and ability for everyone to quickly shower after the beach. Finally, the location was spectacular - close to Commons Park Beach, Sugar Pine Point State Park, and downtown Tahoe City for shopping, restaurants, and activities - but still quiet and private back at the house. The location is perfect - west shore and so close to the lake (26 min walk, 3 min drive) - Sunnyside beach area and restaurant are right there for you. The house was clean and well stocked and you can tell the owners were very thoughtful in making it as efficient and clear for any visitor to have the stay they desire. The balcony view and the hot tub are icing on the cake. Joanne was incredibly responsive and helpful in accommodating an early check out when possible. Plus the carpet needs profesional cleaning too. The bed in the master bedroom makes a lot of noise every time I moved, it was annoying.
