The location was close to the town and we absolutely loved the lake views! We were bummed, though, that the patio furniture was already put away when we arrived November 6th which is still early fall and we had beautiful weather and couldn’t enjoy sitting on the deck looking out at the views. The bed mattress cover is stained under the sheets when i went to wash the sheets. The front door knob locks and is able to be opened while locked so if your not careful you could lock yourself out of the house. there was a key to the door in the pantry that we didn't even know was there until we were cleaning the house to leave. The stairs are really steep outside/inside the house, there should be child safety gates at both staircases inside the house, i was scared that my dog would fall through the steps going up to the third floor so i blocked it with all the furniture so he would not go up. The staircase that goes down was really steep and right next to the kitchen everytime i walked by it i felt like i had to be real careful not to fall down the stairs as i walked by them to get to living room. The house is pretty old so i guess it was as clean as it could be the top of the fridge needs attention. one of the tables outside had a broken leg and an bench in the master had a chunk missing and was stained. the tree coming up the deck needs more room to move in the wind cause it was rubbing on the deck. Dryer is out of service. I was charged $172.50 for dog when it should have been $150.00. ##### Tara R. Great Location to Tahoe city and the ski slopes. The layout of the house with two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and a bedroom & bathroom on the main floor and a finished basement with additional full bathroom allowed for guests to spread out. The #1 overall benefit to this property was the OUTSTANDING customer service and communication. We had a problem with our hot water and Kelly was all over it to ensure we were taken care of in a timely manner. Really went above and beyond to fix the problem!!!
