Great staff and comfortable
Nice place with excellent and helpful staff. It's close to the main road so you can hear some noise. I used the pool every day and it was not crowded. Breakfast okay but nothing special. The location is close big mall with lots of food options and the bus station.

Great hotel, Fantastic Service
Fantastic staff. Helpful and always smiling. I have been visiting this hotel for ten years and it is a fantastic value. Nice pool and rooms along with great service. The food is good. It is near to ICM mall You can’t beat this hotel if you want to stay in Tagbilaran

Staff was great, hotel is a great place for quiet time. It also offers day tours into Bohol. One disappointment: bad cell signal. You literally had to walk out of the hotel and into the yard near the street to use your phone.

I needed place that was convenient to airport. This place was suitable for close by shopping mall and airport. Grounds and hotel were clean and spacious. Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant, groundskeepers and housekeeping is mostly deaf but very doable in terms of ordering food if your capable of pointing your finger at a menu. Proceeds go to good cause thanks to a thoughtful owner. If anything is needed simply contact front desk. The only thing better would have been me knowing sign language to chat with help. Two thumbs up

I would put this hotel in the budget category so review compares to others in same price level. The staff were wonderful the breakfast that came with the room was plain but did the job. I would not suggest going to the restaurant for just food sake but if u are staying there it is ok if you dont want to leave resort. Biggest issues we had at hotel was pool water was very cloudy, so much so it was hard to see tile grout clearly at 4ft. So we did not use it. Kind of difficult to get tricycle, they dont call you just have to stand at road and wait for one to come by and since place is not on a busy corner(ie kew hotel) you end up waiting longer. All in all not a bad visit if you want to be in town for a few days and want your money going towards a worthy cause.

We comfortably stayed here. Nothing wrong w/ the place except an outdated tv and the shower needs a longer curtain so the water wouldn’t seep out from under.

Excellent service. They are friendly and polite. Breakfast is good and it could be better if they use the food warmer. Everything is good except that there is no water pressure on the shower. My request to other guests please respect others by not creating too much noise. I will recommend this hotel to my relatives and friends.

Amazing staff!!
There was nothing extraordinary about the room. It was simple but large. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was tiny! What made the place incredible were the staff. I was travelling alone and they helped me organize everything. They gave me suggestions on where to go and what to do. They even organized a scooter for me. I'd definitely go back!

Inspiring mission but terrible customer service.
The front desk are not as helpful. They only give you information about the tours they offer and it's not even a tour. It's just a driver and the car you hire for the day for your trip. It's way overpriced if you're traveling by yourself. This is my first time traveling around the Philippines. They charge 4,000 PHP for an island tour while I got it so much cheaper. Some ladies in the front desk are helpful but there's this one girl who was rude, when I asked one of them about something, she spoke in their dialect so I couldn't understand, I'm Filipino and speak Tagalog fluently. That was extremely rude. Also, one girl laughed when I inquired about a discount for the tours. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone even though I support their mission. Then, my room had this window above the door where bright light beams through at night, this is the first hotel in my life that had a window above the door. (And I have been traveling all over the world, never seen a window above any doors!) When I asked for them to turn it off, the guy at nights turned it off, but the girl said, the guests won't be able to see at night, then I said, the guy turned it off the past two nights, what are you talking about?! I didn't asked to be moved since I figured all the rooms had windows above the doors, would just make sense but when I checked out, I found out some didn't! What kind of hotel does that?! Why have lights that would disrupt people's sleep at night?!Doesn't make sense!

Close to The Mall
The tarsiers were amazing to watch, they need to have strict rules about photography and the noise level since these creatures are nocturnal and sensitive. This island could definitely be another Boracay, it has beautiful beaches, great for snorkelling, chocolate hills and of course the tarsiers. The hotel is within walking distance to the mall. Tricycles were a cheap way to travel around.

Beautiful people in quiet location!
Old and somewhat outdated, but I would stay there again. The staff was fantastic, and unlike some of the other reviewers, we found the receptionist to be so amenible, helpful and absolutely charming! Relaxing grounds and surroundings and some distance from centre of town. Fish spa was a hoot. Rooms offered comfort without luxury but the family feel of the place was so refreshing.

Dao Diamond is good to explore from for a day or 2
The hotel is nice. About 10 minutes drive from the ferry port terminal. The Hotel offers a free shuttle to the port if you have a private room (unfortunately that wasn't well advertised so on the way there we took a tricycle. we paid 100Php, probably could have gone down to 40 now that we know how long it takes). Dont take the taxies at >300php it's a crazy price. it's also VERY close to the island mall (from which you can get buses and jeepneys all over the island. Not close enough to walk, but maybe a few minutes on a trike). The pool is clean, a bit small. The room had a fan and aircon. the aircon was quite old and super loud. the toilet and shower were ok. the shower was one of these types that is heated electrically so the pressure and temp are a bit on the low side. the breakfast was pretty basic - rice, eggs, sweet pork, sweet sausages, instant coffee.

Relaxing Stay at Dao Diamond
Overall it was a good stay at Dao Diamond. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Very quiet and peaceful hotel. Also very close to Island City Mall. My only negatives is lack of hot water. Also breakfast was not very good and not many choices but it was free so I cannot complain too much about it.

I loved my stay at the Dao Diamond. Its set in very nice green surroundings. The lobby is sapcious, lots of seating and done in a typical local fashion..lots of wood and cushions. The room was old fashioned but comfortable and not cramped. Nice comfy beds, a window airconditioner that keeps the room cool. A functional toilet with nice hot and cold water pressure.The service at the hotel was excellent. Free wifi that kept me connected.They arrange a free pick up and drop to the airport. A big shopping mall called The Island City Mall (commonly known as ICM) is very close,. A trike ride to the mall is 10-15 peso. Breakfast is small but adequate, and if you want more than what is offered, its economical to order. Just opposite the hotel is a small shop where its possible to top up load on your sim card. The hotel helps to arrange sightseeing tours. All the workers, except those at the reception desk, are hearing impaired, but that in no way affects their service levels. I found it comfortable and easy to make myself understood. I would stay there again if I went back to Bohol

Top hotel en je steunt een goed doel!
Heel fijn hotel met schone kamer, goede bedden en een mooie badkamer. Het zwembad is ook erg schoon. Eten is super lekker! Wij hebben nergens zo lekker gegeten als hier. Personeel is heel vriendelijk! Echt een aanrader!

Pleasant hotel close to icm mall. We stayed only one night and headed to Cebu. Transport to pier went very smoothly and food at restaurant was pleasant. I can recommend to stay in here.

キレイで静かなホテル
タクビララン空港からtricycleというフィリピンの乗り物で15分程度のところにあります。シャトルバスでの空港送迎も行っており、空港への移動は困りません。移動手段の依頼は、ホテルのカウンターで行うことができます（私たちの時は無料でした）。電話でもできると思いますが。 ホテルとその周辺はとても静かです。ホテル内は木々や花々がキレイに飾られていて、非常にゆったりとした時間が流れています。ロビーもレストランも部屋もきれいに掃除されてありました。多くの聴覚障がい者の方がホテルマンとして働かれていますが、よく訓練を受けられていらっしゃるようで、特に困ったことはありませんでした。

Utanför centrum i lugnare kvarter.
Ett intressant hotell som drivs av dövstumma. Vi trivdes bra och fick god service. Vi bytte rum för vi ville bo på nedre botten, eftersom det inte fanns någon brandutgång på övre plan, trots hotellrum och sovsalar där. Mycket märkligt! Det fanns utmärkt motorcykel at hyra. Matsalen OK, men ingen höjdare.

今まで海外旅行の中で1番人情が溢れているホテルでした。障害者が多く働いていますが、何も支障もなく、ゆっくり過ごせました。また泊りに行きたいと思いました。
