this has happened twice staying at this hotel, no roll away bed provided, even after confirming 24hrs in advance of arrival. We thought we would give them a second chance but they failed. Does this make sense...5 guests paid for in a room with 2 queen beds and no additional bed? Was told it is strictly first come first served for roll aways and there are 6 of these (only 2, stated another employee) in a hotel of 300 hundred or more rooms? How is it that you can book that many guests into a room and not be expected to provide bed space? The night manager tried, I will give her that. She had extra bedding and pillows sent to the room so that I could sleep somewhat comfortably ON THE FLOOR. And that was my choice, as I was told I would have to pay for another room if I wanted another bed.
In addition, during my conversation with the manager, she told me that she was sure that I had been informed of the first come first served policy regarding roll away beds. I assured her I had not been told and she said she was pretty sure that she had told me. So now I'm a liar, too? What happened to customer service etiquette? Right or wrong, you don't tell the customer that they are wrong, you just deal with it. I agree whole heartedly, with a previous review that this is not Red Lion quality and I will not be staying with this hotel ever again.
