Check in was confusing because the online check in procedure will not accept the confirmation number from Expedia. I called the hotel and she did not check me in but instead made a note that I was enroute. I did not pay in advance and attempted to pay on the phone which she could not do because she thought there would be continued confusion as to whether I had prepaid already. The weekend desk clerk was more a zombie than a person. He never looked up from his computer screen and dressed in the same all black clothing always wearing a black jacket at the counter. He never looked up or greeted anyone at the door. A mass murderer with a machine gun could have walked in and he would not have noticed because he never looked up from the screen. Late one night, we stayed four days, we were locked out. That night manager locked the door which surprised us because we had never seen the door locked. There was no room service because it was a holiday period. We begged for towels. The breakfast was cold and pretty gross. Chunks of cold scrambled eggs, "turkey sausage", cold also. Oatmeal that was a thick as mud. Yes, I do know the consistency of mud. Cups for coffee and juice were more absent then available. Numeral times we attempted to get coffee or juice and there were no cups. One morning it was jalepeno spiced egg, and the next was oold chewy egg muffins. On our last day, islanders sat next to the buffet and when the food came out, the islanders took it all.

We were on the 2nd floor directly facing the pool room area. from 9 pm till 2am people were coming and going, making LOTS OF NOISE adults, teens and screaming children. we were exhausted at check in and the noise was unbearable. We used to think this was a good place to stay, now. . . not so sure.

The hotel is lovely and kept very clean. The breakfast is very good. Always hot water and coffee available Right now the parking is a mess because they are going to build more rooms. This year I found out there is underground parking but are truck is to tall for it and parking was very difficult.

I loved my room. It was modern, clean and comfortable. I liked the photography in the room. Someone took time and care with this. The bed was amazing. The welcome message in the screen was a nice touch.

Nice Visit
Conveniently located. Near downtown Puyallup, as well as the South Hill Mall. There were some healthy breakfast choices which I appreciated, i.e. egg white frittata, whole wheat bread, fruit. Nice workout room, as opposed to just one treadmill or one bicycle like you see in some hotels. This one had two treadmills two bikes two stair masters and complete set of weights and workout ball. The pool was heated which was nice in the winter and the hot tub was very clean.

Always Pleased
My husband and I absolutely love our stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites. This is our favorite spot to get away for the weekend. I must say this location has been upgraded quite a bit since we last stayed. The option for Netflix and the other entertainment is amazing and super convenient. We have always loved the continental breakfast and thoroughly enjoy the comfy atmosphere.

This was hands down the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed it. I could hear every footfall in the hallway and above me. There was zero sound proofing and I couldn’t sleep at all. The staff, on the other hand, was amazing!!

My wife has mobility issues so the handicap room we were in was great...handrail in tub; easy access to drawers. We both enjoyed the full breakfast and the dining area is spacious and clean. The breakfast staff were very attentive....keeping the tables and the serving area cleaned and replenishing the serving dishes as needed!

Most uncomfortable place we've ever stayed
If you are accustomed to the comfy feel of a memory foam mattress, don't stay here. If you are elderly and have arthritis, don't stay here. If you are accustomed to sleeping with a full sized regular pillow, don't stay here. The bed felt like a 2inch pillowtop mattress on concrete. It was so hard it hurt every pressure point on me, and it'll take my neck a week to recover from the half-sized pillows filled with approx 20 feathers each. When I booked the room, I reserved the room with a roll in shower. There is NO way anything would have cleared that 6 in lip to roll in, so I could not get a shower. I really expected better from a hotel owned by Hilton! You can keep the free cookie, we are going back to BW. They have comfy beds with real pillows.
