Whether you’ve come to celebrate an important milestone or reunion with family or friends, we specialize in hosting memories that last a lifetime. What makes this property special is all of the separate gathering spaces, it’s relative privacy, and it’s location (only a few blocks from lively 6th Avenue restaurants and shops and in the Historic North Slope District). Our guests love the Chef’s kitchen with its professional 6-burner gas stove. Enjoy shared meals at our large dining table or on the outdoor patio. Want to barbecue? We have gas and charcoal grill options. Enjoy the mature garden that shines in the Spring and Summer. You will love sitting by our Koi pond with waterfall (kids love to feed the fish!) and around the fire pit on warm evenings. The game room/garage is perfect to spread out in, rain or shine. Enjoy spontaneous ping pong and foosball matches. The separate cottage has its own bedroom, 3/4 bath, kitchen, and living room and is perfect for someone that wants more privacy and space. Every bedroom of the house is designed to feel like boutique hotel luxury- quality mattresses, 100% cotton linens, and thoughtful decor touches throughout. The Orchard House was even nicer than represented on the listing, and there were so many thoughtful details in the way things were set up and provisioned. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. I particularly appreciated that the provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were fragrance free, since I have fragrance allergies.
