The casino is like a maze and there is smoking allowed inside thst combined with the short ceilings at the Casino, its was really aweful. The hotel room was excellent shape.

Very sad that they trick you into booking this on Expedia making you think you are at the real emerald Queen casino when it is actually the other small one and you have bought tickets to a concert at the big casino. Very sad we lost money.

Our room had a terrible bed. We didn’t sleep well at all because the old bed sagged in the middle. We actually woke up in pain from the bed. Also choking on smoke was disgusting.

I did not like that you must enter through the smoky casino gaming room to get to the hotel and you can only go in one entrance if you to your room with an outside bag. We liked the price and the hotel room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the tv channels for watching NCAA tournament games (women’s and men’s)

There was nothing I liked. The security is a joke and should be reevaluated. The smoke is also ridiculous when first entering. Front desk staff was attentive.

You have to go through TSA before entering the hotel, it reeks of cigarettes, the dining is limited and quality of food gross, and the bed was uncomfortable with a plastic crinkly mattress protector. It’s obvious the rooms and halls have been updated. We won’t be going back.

The Tacoma Hotel has a separate entrance and a hotel parking garage. The elevators take your right to the registration desk, bypassing the Casino entirely. We hope we will see you in the future. Need a few more Handicap parking spots and maybe something convenient in the Entrance roundabout area where you can stop for half an hour so hotel guests can go in and out or they don’t have to park so far away. But only for Hotel guests. The room is there to allow this..

Not only were most of the staff that we came into contact with rude and unhelpful they definitely made it feel like they certainly didn’t want us there. Security searched our bags which was fine but they didn’t do it without making you feel like a criminal first. We were yelled at multiple times by security for minor things that they simply could have talked to us about. The rooms were wildly outdated for the price that we paid and our room smelled like someone had just eaten a pizza in it at the point of arrival. Not only that but none of the restaurants had food options that catered to vegans or vegetarians, making it impossible to dine conveniently. I would not book this hotel again based on this experience alone. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in my lifetime and never had an experience like this. It was very unwelcoming.

If you are into staying the night in an ashtray, this is the place for you. To get to your room you must walk through a smokey entrance with slot machines impeding your way to the lobby, your luggage must be scanned like your at an airport, so dont carry a pocket knife or you'll be returning it to your car. Hopefully, you didnt take an airport shuttle to get here or you'll be throwing your knife away you had in your checked luggage. Also, you can’t smoke in the rooms or you'll get charged, but who knows how they would tell since it smells like Al Capone is standing next to you with a lit cigar!! The EQC Fife (which even the staff said is like an old folks home) also has no table games, so be aware of that if it's your thing. Don't worry though you can drive 4 miles to the newer EQC Tacoma which is just a cleaner ashtray. There is no place you can go that you can't smell smoke, even in the newer fancy Casino Hotel. However, parking is free at both, Enjoy!!

Staff clearly does not know the meaning of hospitality. Rented multiple rooms for work and my staff almost quick because of how the hotels staff painstakingly went out of their way to make my team feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed. When I complained the manager who clearly is a big part of the problem refused to check us out with a refund and continued to watch as the security house keeping and front desk did everything they could to prove this place does not deserve anyones time or attention. Avoid this place at all costs. Even a motel 6 is better.

Beware high crime area. Our van was stolen from here. They said this happens two to three times a week. No signs in parking lot notification of the high crime.
