The cabin was a reasonable place to stay for a good price. There were a few mice running around and a cold draft from the north door, so the furnace did run often. A coffee cake was left in the kitchen and a cooked egg casserole was left in the refrigerator, both with notes saying "Enjoy." That was a very nice touch. After it snowed, the landlord came and shoveled and put down ice melt. There was a large screen tv with various videos. Although I didn't use it, it was a nice amenity. The location is remote, but not so far off the beaten path that it's hard to get out and about. We showed up to a homemade coffee cake and casserole for breakfast and a basket of snacks as well, which was unexpected and so nice! Drinks and fruit were in the fridge, too! We watched a movie and played cards that night. The size of the place was perfect for 4 adults. Nice upgrades to the bathroom, including nice linens. Everything was clean and comfortable. The AC was a much needed respite from the humidity! Debbie was responsive and helpful. She was great at anticipating little things that made a big difference!
