Fun in B'ville!

Posted 6-Feb-2016 on Hotels
It was my first trip to B'ville to see some friends. I booked the hotel on Friday and checked in on Saturday. For best views, choose the river view and not canal. Hotel was very comforting and the staff was very friendly. The property is very old but has character. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We forgot toothpaste and were able to get it at the front desk. In the morning they provide a basic breakfast of cereal and toast/bagel/english muffin along with milk, juices and coffee. Right across the street are 3 bar/restaurants that had great food and drink. If you take a 5-10 minute walk you'll find the B'ville diner which is 24 hours and excellent. If you decide to drive 20 minutes into downtown Syracuse there are a TON of great restaurants, bars and breweries! I will definitely be back!

Excellent place

Great place had the McHarrie suite. The only problem I had was the spiral staircase in the room was difficult to maneuver. Very narrow, but overall great stay.

Hotel had cozy charm, easy to find and plenty of parking. Surrounded by soothing sounds of the Seneca River. Room was spacious with cozy lighting and warmth that greeted me after checking in late on cool night. Bed very comfortable. Ample wall sockets throughout the room. Amenities in room: hair dryer, Iron and full size iron board. Breakfast downstairs off the lobby area; not large offering, but sufficient for busy traveler. Fast computer and printer available for guests. Staff friendly and ready to please and quickly resolve issues (had problem with wake up call not requested). Very unique, specially made for hotel soaps, shampoo, conditioner and lotion for each room. Convenient location; within walking distance to various types of restaurants, shops, pharmacy, (historic) buildings and churches. I loved each of the five days I stayed at this inn and will be back again!

Great little Inn

We had a great trip, and would choose the Red Mill Inn over any big name hotel anytime.
