"Room was missing details for a 4 star hotel. Did not have a coffee maker or kettle in the room. Had to ask reception to provide us with two normal glasses and a coffee cups. Smell of damp in the bathroom but other then that room was clean. Breakfast not enough staff to cater for restaurant size. Items take too long to be replace when finished . Indoor pool needs to be warmer as was cold ."

"We stayed in room 362, a superior double. It was beautiful, very clean and spacious and the elegant bathroom had two doors - his and hers! The hotel was really quiet at night and we didn't hear a sound of any other guests. The public areas are impressive, a beautiful airy, cool lounge, with free tea and coffee in the afternoons. As other guests have said, the breakfast is excellent with a full menu of hot dishes plus the buffet, and, unlike so many hotels, there is always a table available for breakfast. Altogether, just about the best hotel I have ever stayed in - although also the most expensive! "

"What a way to start our trip in Sicily. The property and staff were fantastic. Far exceeded our expectations. Really loved our room with the rooftop terrace. Sunsets galore! Breakfasts were wonderful, and everyone super friendly. I would highly recommend this place. "
