"Booked Algila at the last minute having found our original hotel unsatisfactory on arrival. Staff were excellent - extremely pleasant and helpful and recommended great restaurants every evening. The hotel is lovely and the beds were comfortable. Valet parking was available (at a cost) and free beach towels were provided. "

"Lovely hotel at the north western tip of Ortigia. The whole island is easily walkable and it only yook us 20 minutes ir so to walk to the archealogical park on the mainland. The staff at the hotel were all very polite, friendly and really helpful especially with our airport transfer at 4.30 am! They even packed us a fantastic breakfast to take with us. Would definitely stay with them again should we return to Sicily."

"This is probably the best hotel my husband and I have ever stayed. I have written many reviews and never have I ever had the pleasure to write such a glowing compliment about a place we have stayed . We spent only one night here, but we have been overwhelmed by the hospitality of the hotel staff . We were greeted by Giuseppe at the front desk who upgraded us to a suite and very kind. The room had the view of the front garden and swimming pool- it felt serene. The bathroom had great selection of toiletries and the shower was very comfortable. We went to the spa which is honestly spectacular . We took the hammam treatment and Paulo did a great job . He informed us that he has been working in this spa for over 10 years and really takes care of the spa like it’s his own . Then we had dinner at the hotel restaurant and we were blown away by the hospitality of the chef’s team and Santoni our server. Every dish was meticulously prepared and they really took care of us with no compromise of service and flavour. The stuffed ravioli was a taste sensatio. The breakfast was yet another spectacular event. The hot eggs and pastries were exquisite and Jimmy our server was kind and attentive and took initiative really look after us. Isobella at the reception was lovely .The thing we took away from staying here 1 night is that the staff love their job and it is because of this dedication to attention & professionalism in every tiny detail that makes this the best hotel we have ever stayed."

"This is easily one of the most charming and wonderful hotel stays that we have had in years. We would not only stay here again, but highly recommend it. We chose and paid more for room 12, which I highly recommend. It felt like am apartment with three rooms rather than just a hotel stay - it had ocean views from two rooms. The location is A ."

"Very nice city hotel. Hotel is well-situated for exploring Ortigia. Room, with a view of the water, was quite nice and very clean. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast buffet was as expected for a property of this caliber. Hotel is located within restricted zone, so it was possible to drive to hotel but then necessary to valet park (at 50 Euros/day). We also walked to the archeological park and museum in Siracusa although this was quite a ways. There is a rooftop outdoor lounge that has a view but seems too hot for afternoon use and a bit too cool for the evening during our late October visit. We highly recommended this hotel."

"Small hotel right by station. Fairly basic but clean, staff were very helpful and a 30 minute walk to Ortigia. Parking was free and easy opposite hotel."
