« This hotel is relatively new and is just beginning to show some signs of wear like chipping here and there is the bathroom, scratches on the bedside table, small holes in the window blind. It is generally very quiet there and the walls seem to be thick enough to block out the TV or other normal sounds from adjacent rooms. If you value quiet, don't take a room on the first floor. « My stay at Farmstead Inn was cut short by a storm. We had no electricity after 11:00 pm the first night. The next day the management said they could do nothing about canceling our room for the next night nor could they adjust price for all the inconvenience of having to find another hotel. Absolutely no accommodations, communication, or apologies were made by the property. There was NO plan for an emergency situation, no emergency power lights. They blamed Expedia in one of their conversations....
