The cabin was perfect for what I needed. Close to the blue ridge parkway. Close to a lot of hiking. The cabin itself was clean and well maintained. It was about 3 or 4 miles to Sylva with restaurants and any supplies I needed. Greg was friendly and made the process very easy. I left 4 days early because of the storm Helene. Nice new platform with chairs on the bank of the beautiful creek, a great feature. Friendly host provided coat hangers on request. Cabin could use small chest of drawers or set of shelves as place to unpack clothes into. Whole place is clean, with newish feel to it. Important note: shower/sink/toilet room is separate from cabin, 15-20 feet away. It was exclusively ours, but having to emerge from our cabin to use it was something I would have preferred to know explicitly beforehand. Close to town, so you can easily reach restaurants, but far enough away to feel private. The cabin is small, but there's plenty of room to store things, so it never felt cluttered. I had no plans and brought stuff to do a number of things. There's a creek behind the cabin that was a constant relaxing sound and helped sleep. And Greg was a great host - communicating when he would be around the property working/making noise, but also making sure any needs are met. Would definitely stay here again. ##### Sam B.
