Good place with parking free. Rather than go into Sydney for next day flight we stayed outside main city and were pleased with this hotel choice

Tech-savvy traveler's paradise
it was a smooth check-in The hotel felt fresh, new and contemporary. The room has abundance of USB ports and USB-C charging options which was a real bonus, eliminating the need for adapters. While not in the heart of the city, the hotel's location near the train station allowed for easy access to all Sydney's sights. However, there were a couple of drawbacks: The shower's tendency to flood the bathroom floor was a major inconvenience. Frequent towel adjustments were required to avoid a watery situation, something the hotel should definitely address. Traffic noise: As the hotel is located near a major street, traffic noise was noticeable, particularly in quieter moments. If you're a light sleeper, this might be something to consider. Overall, my stay at the Royal Pacific Hotel was positive, with its modern amenities and convenient location outweighing the minor inconveniences. I would recommend it to travelers who prioritize a trendy atmosphere and easy access to public transportation

Great accommodation, staff were lovley. Only thing was the shower was leaking, let them know and getting it sorted. No handwash only handcream, staff came up straight away and sorted it out. Nothing was a problem for the staff. Would have been great to have a folder with reception number, menu available at restaurant down stairs etc. Also a shade sail over shallow end of the pool would have been great. Was only one over deep end, with a little one no shade. Otherwise pool was clean lovely and great seating area outside of the pool.

Have stayed at this hotel many times, first issue ever with hot water running out at night, shower was Luke warm. Also decor has been updated but not very tasteful, dreadful pictures on the walls! Cheap fittings and tiny tea cups instead of mugs.

Good... - Property was clean. - Reservation was simple. - Management were contactable when an issue arose. - Parking area is lit up over night. Bad... - No hot water (freezing cold night and my wife and I had just arrived after an 8hr trip from out west) - Only one bath towel. - Management contacted about hot water and responded that it was an ongoing issue, and I might have to wait a few hours for it to warm up. - Management did not resolve the hot water issue and did not offer any discount or compensation.

Their website needs to be updated re restaurant hours. It states it is open 4 nights per week but upon arrival it is not open at all. The alternative offered was the Hotel 1 km up the road. I have mobility problems so that was not an option for me. Also I do not go out of a night as I am elderly. The room had been refurbished and was very comfortable except the first morning the bathroom flooded.

The great northern hotel is 500 meters up the road plus there is many restaurants that deliver to the hotel but we are trying to get back to our normal restaurant service in the near future. This hotel is undergoing renovations and I am sure that because we booked through Lastminute and go a discounted deal they put us in a crappy room. The shower did not work properly, the knobs came off the water taps and we were lucky not to burn ourselves, the show leaked, the person who cleans the rooms just walked in the door at 6.30 am, they had not been told we were there! The room and bathroom were not cleaned well and I am sure it is because they were renovating it.

There was no doubt in my mind that we could get any better accommodation for how close we were to royal north shore hospital and the restaurant precinct.. we loved the beautiful king size bed

The staff are excellent from checkin to check out to cleaners everybody was very friendly and were very welcoming to visitors :) daily housekeeping is always welcomed and was only late once in the entire week we stayed :) The location being so close to the CBD is great! there are a few things that the hotel could do with regards to the upkeep of the hotel, We did not pick the cheapest hotel to stay for the week but going on the fact the pictures do not reflect the state of the hotel. The hotel rooms do not look like any pictures on the website, when exiting the lifts it is a very musty smell and im pretty sure that is the carpeting and the dusting not being done int he halls because it is very clear in sight. when going into rooms ( we had two deluxe rooms for the week) straight away the carpets really do need replacing. The stains and state of the carpets honestly would be better off without carpet and just lay floorboard if the carpets are unable to be maintained properly. The bathrooms although serviced daily are clearly only given a quick wipe over both rooms had mould in the showers and again dust everywhere. I would suggest even just bleach bomb the shower recess to start fresh? The grout is actually black and can see it is built up grime even the floor in the shower. The toilets were perfect!! could not fault the toiles at all! BBQ area needs cooking tools (chain them tot he BBQ?) and cleaning facilities and bins, there is nowhere to place rubbish when having a BBQ
