Undercover garage door was broken and could not close causing unsecured car parking. Room was fine with good facilities and comfortable bed. Friendly staff during check in.

Required emergency accommodation while in Sydney over NYE weekend. Arrived to no lighting in bathroom; repaired quickly by helpful staff & then final morning woke to no electricity in room. Cleanliness was biggest issue - property is very old and rooms/ bathrooms not clean.

Curtains wouldn’t open. Smell coming from aircon was putrid. 2 bags of dirty linen were near the lift for almost 24 hours. All these overfill rubbish dumpsters near the front of building. The room was tiny.

The studio Queen was spacious, modern, good condition and clean with a nice kitchen. Mantra located in industrial area but good parking underneath. Bed was too firm, needed mattress topper. Only had small fridge with no real freezer. No decaf coffee. No sofa meant sitting on bed or at table. No porter but friendly receptionist. Borrowed small, crummy trolley for baggage. Reasonable pricing.

Overpriced
Place is tired. Needs refurbishing. We were late coming in and our key card did not open the garage! Luckily it opened the front door of hotel so we could get in. Breakfast room was grotty and not enough plates & cups or tables and chairs for all guests. Way too overpriced for what was offered. Staff were friendly & helpful.

Only just better than a night in an old caravan or hospital with a curtain between you and your neighbour. I didn’t realise pets were acceptable guests either.

My stay
Everything was clean and fresh - and the room was well ventilated, quiet and private. The soap/shampoos etc and body lotion provided were all lovely. I did request something gluten free for breakfast, however, and was disappointed that, even though I paid for it, there was nothing provided for me to eat.

You enter the hotel through the back parking lot of an industrial yak park! It doesn’t get much better from there! Elevator takes forever. Shared with the housekeeping staff so you’ll wait forever to get up if down. Kitchen was dirty. Cups/mugs, dishwasher dirty! Furniture dirty, floor sticky! Oh I wish I had an option to get the heck out of there but we’d prepaid and were in and out for the night! Multiple guests I meet in the hallway or lobby waiting for the Lift felt the same! Would NEVER stay there again or recommend anyone else do so!

We accidentally left our cards to get into our room on our table. My husband asked if they had a spare and they gave us 2 more cards without any drama. They also allowed us to check in before 2pm. It was a great place to stay and very helpful workers.

Very small room for 229 a night but probably in line with the area. Bathroom is tiny couldn’t open the vanity unless door closed. Staff was lovely and very helpful 😊

The room was small but adequate. Clean and neat. Good service. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Terrible traffic noise. Kept me awake but hubby wasn't even aware of it. Bathroom was lovely but too pokey.

Very odd entry to the hotel through unlit industrial back street and a little concerning. Breakfast content for the price was too fundamental. For the extra $15 we were wanting more than a cereal machine coffee and a piece of toast. Maybe lol ran out and lighting and power stopped as a fuse blew out … or something while having breakfast. Reception was ok but couldn’t order us an Uber. Elevator was extremely slow and no apparent stair exit in cases of fire. Existed but couldn’t locate it.

For Mantra, not what I was expecting.
Service upon check-in wasn't friendly. We had to continually get a replacement card as the one given wouldn't work. This happened on both our visits (same gentleman at the counter). We stayed there the following weekend and our room had a leaking fridge and the door connecting it to another room was open so those guests could come into our room and vice versa.

It was not advertised as being in the middle of an industrial area. The room was hot and humid. The factory workers started working at 2.45 AM using forklifts, moving bins and yelling just outside our room. Leaving the carpark was also very tight for a big car. Would not stay there again !!!
