Her place was exactly as described and we had the most amazing view of Sydney’s New Year’s fireworks display. It was a real treat to watch from the balcony and not have be out in the crowds. The location was easy to get to and had secure onsite parking available. There were restaurants and shops within walking distance as well as public transportation if needed. Very convenient to ferry and rail systems. Our host was amazing. The apartment was a nice size for 2 people (not sure more than 3 would work). Lavender Bay is a cute town with great little restaurants. In particular, the Ched Thai was awesome. We walked all over Kirribilli from there, including Luna Park, (Note you will hear faint screaming from Luna Park roller coasters, but it doesn't go late.).
