It all connects seamlessly with a sun-dappled furnished patio. There’s also a sizeable bathroom that doubles as the laundry. Housed in an elegant manor, it has access to a communal lounge and gardens. Nearby trains and trams provide quick access to the Sydney CBD. Local bars, shops, cafes and restaurants are a short walk away.

The suburb has light-rail and subway stations, along with neighbouring restaurant and cafe strips along New Canterbury Road. Lewisham borders the Hawthorne Canal, which runs through the leafy Cadigal Reserve.

This property is ok, at best. Great location, not bad value and enough room for short stay but…There is no aircon (which I knew). Fan was a combo heater and barely adequate.The shower head mount is brokenThe external stairwell blocks part of the bathroom Washing machine was dirtyDrinking glasses were grubbyOutside are was covered in leaves and dirt and unusable Outside lighting at night poor (to the point of dangerous)
