Wood fire needs attention. We did light this but this liberated smoke into the living area. We have a similar stove at home and do not have this problem.Exhaust fans in kitchen and bathroom did not appear to have much effect. It has a lovely outlook and is well appointed. The house was clean and the fixtures are well kept (except for the BBQ on the back deck which is in a poor state). I stayed there with a group of 7 adults for 2 nights when attending an event in Katoomba and it worked well. The driveway is a bit steep with loose stones which one vehicle had some trouble with, but otherwise I would be happy to return. ##### Barbara G.
