The first floor apartment offers a stylish, comfortable stay on the beautiful south Wales coast with an outstanding view of the beach. After breakfast or lunch on the balcony overlooking Rotherslade Bay, within a minute's walk you can be swimming in the crystal clear waters, or taking a stroll on the beach. Rotherslade and Langland Beaches are on the edge of the Gower, the UK's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where there are many other beautiful bays, beaches and villages to explore, and the apartment is the perfect base for this. Rotherslade and Langland beaches offer a large expanse of sand, countless rock pools for exploring, clean water for swimming in and lots of fun for everyone. There is a cafe at the top of the beach or a further cafe plus a restaurant a five minute walk away at the Langland slipway. If walking is your thing, the Welsh coastal path passes by the apartment and there are dozens of other scenic walks coastal and inland walks in the area and beyond. The village of Mumbles is a 15 minute direct walk, a 35 minute walk around the cliffs, or a five minute drive away. The apartment has a dedicated parking space for guests. In Mumbles you will find a delightful village with a great array of restaurants, pubs, bars and ice cream parlours. There are also all the sorts of shops and amenities you'd expect on a high street, as well as some great independent shops. Rotherslade Beach View apartment, located on the first floor (access by stairs only), is a two bedroom property that has recently been refurbished and furnished with stylish mid-century furniture. It offers an extremely comfortable stay with seating for four people in the open plan living area to relax, and a large Smart TV on which you can log in to your favourite entertainment provider. There is a balcony overlooking the beach which has a table and seating for four - great for al fresco dining or breakfast to the sound of the waves and seagulls! The kitchen is compact but very well-equipped, including a full size oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee capsule machine and Smeg appliances. The dining area is adjacent and the table has seating for four people. The main bedroom has a super kingsize bed with plenty of clothes storage, while the second bedroom has full size twin beds, and clothes storage. The bathroom has a large walk in shower, along with a toilet, basin and vanity unit. The apartment has a washer dryer available for the use of guests which saves on packing. Rotherslade Beach View apartment is the perfect place for a relaxing break, or an active holiday on the water or in the area. View over the bay. Only one parking space but unlimited on-street parking. 10 minutes walk to shops and a choice of restaurants in Mumbles. Sadly we can only describe our stay at this apartment as a horrendous experience. We were told by the owner the week before that scaffolding had been put up around the apartments, but she said ‘we do not anticipate this will impact your comfort.’ Well it most certainly did. We were unable to use the balcony due to the scaffolding, filthy outdoor furniture from the work being carried out and furthermore the scaffolding totally blocked out the sun. The noise first thing in the morning was unbearable which meant we didn’t spend any time in the apartment until much later in the evenings when the workmen had gone. We also do not agree with other reviews saying how spotlessly clean this apartment was. To find dirty bloodstained tissues down the side of one of the beds is totally unforgivable. We will definitely NOT be returning and the short break we were so looking forward to it turned out to be an absolute disaster. The owner was really easy to communicate with and the beach and coastal walk were beautiful.There was some scaffolding at the property which the owner inform us of beforehand. The apartment and surrounding area was very quiet indeed. The apartment, linens and contents all super clean. Excellent WiFi and all the basics you could need. Can’t fault it and would definitely return and recommend it. The apartment is within a few minutes of the beach, and the coastal path between The Mumbles and Caswell Bay (and beyond if you're feeling energetic). The apartment had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and comfy enough to be a home away from home. Some great places to eat and drink within a short walk. Thoroughly recommended. ##### Rob A. The property is extremely comfortable - we all commented on how comfortable the beds were ! It was very clean and tidy, nice and warm given its the winter. It was also a pleasant surprise as there were a few essentials in the cupboard ( often places don’t do this any longer ). Lovely to have a sea view.
