It was great hotel and facilities but spa facilities was not working which was frustrating as it was the main reason I booked this hotel for

At checkin my family and I were greeted by a polite wonderful gentleman who gave the kids some arts and crafts presents which kids really liked. He answered all questions we had and was very helpful especially in organising the cot bed for my 3y.o. daughter which was free of charge. The room was reasonably clean, we had clean towels, soap,shower gel, shampoo, toilet paper available. Bed sheets clean straight and white (no stains and smelled fresh), we had tea and coffee available in room but we didn’t use it, we had iron,iron board, hair dryer available which we didn’t hope we would. There was some road noise audible at night when sleeping and the room was kinda cold during night as I couldn’t get the aircon to work and warmup the room. Swimming pool was available until 21:00 (last entry 20:30) and the shopping street restaurants were within walk distance as well as the rail station. Breakfast buffet was free for kids and for 2 adults they charged £20, so very good value for money, food fresh, tasty and plenty to choose from, plenty of refreshments and fruits to choose from as well. Both kitchen and hotel were kind,respectful and helpful. Parking was £12 for 24 hours and you can prolong it via your phone using the parking code for as long as you need. All in all was a wonderful experience. We almost felt at home there.

Holiday Inn London –Sutton IHG Hotel. We booked a couple nights at Holiday Inn London, through Expedia and OMG what a mistake. This place is a dump & worse than Motel 6 in America. Not even a homeless will enjoy staying at this place. It was a humiliating experience. The place is outdated and dirty and lacking required daily maintenance. The worst part was that the first day we got stuck in the shower without running water. We couldn’t even shower…. No kidding!!! We notified staff in three different occasions, and they did not assist at all. We waited for more than two hours to no avail, and they didn’t even have the courtesy to notify us of the issue. Moreover, as tourists, we lost money for bookings for that day in London. In the name of justice… the least they could do is refund the money that was paid for that horrible stay and offset the losses to compensate the troubles and losses as we lost the other travel and amenities bookings. Stay away from Holiday Inn London –Sutton IHG Hotel…or, do it at your own risk!

Hotel was nice and convenient , clean room and facilities were good , however £4 for a diet coke and nearly £ 9 for a large glass of house red i found to be very exspensive,

Nice stay overall
Overall we had a good stay. A little dated hotel / room. Beds were comfortable. Wish we had more movie options to watch. Dining area tables could have been a little cleaner. Parking charges need to be clearer on site as we had to pay £24 which shocked me.

Needs to pay attention to detail
Spacious room but lack of attention to detail. Had 2 identical pictures on the walls with one hidden half behind the television. Thered obviously been a change and the picture not re-sited. Tv control was a nightmare and the bath small with the shower head to close to the wall for a comfortable shower. In the bar they had run out of three of the draught beers and so only a lager and a guiness were available. Unforgivable for a hotel of this suppoosed stature. Car parking £12, over the top. Would not stay here by choice.

So many extras made our stay affordable.
Excellent stay, very helpful and friendly staff who go above and beyond. Loads of extras thrown in which made our stay so much better, for example, no charge in car park, free snacks for the children and what made a MASSIVE difference to me, was that the children ate free in the restaurant.

Housekeeping was terrible. Mattress pad had blood stains on it. (Not ours) Bathroom floor had hair on it ( not ours). On two separate days, towels were not replaced. Overall cleanliness of room was lacking in upkeep.

It really is the helpful staff who make this stay a 5* one. Every single employee is friendly and ready to help with a smile particularly Jamie and Bert from the restaurant team. Very clean hotel with great food choices and perfectly located for the station and high street. We enjoyed time in the pool and spa and will definitely be coming back again!

Lovely hotel. No narrow corridors. Extremely spacious suite with two rooms. Good dining options and well stocked breakfast buffet. The kids eat free offer makes dining quite affordable overall. Loved our stay.
